ADMINISTRATOR: Yes please remove this thread. It was written by me in a rash moment and
I sincerely apologize for my being stupid. For those that don't know, Iilene was not a real
person and a figment of my imagination. Again I am very sorry about this thread.

Iilene passed away this evening. She was glad for the friends she made here on the board. She was as real in her life as many of the people on this board are and I am thankful to have known her during her short stay on this message board. Long after we all have shuffled off our mortal coils her words will echo through the backups and archived files of the internet as well as in the caches of countless computers all over the world. You seek to remove this post and in so doing hope to erase any trace of her but she will live on. She will overcome. It would not surprise me one bit if sometime in the future she would reach out from the great beyond and send us some kind words and provide guidance. Now for the down to earth part - did she have anything of value that one might be able to lay their hands on? As a remembrance of her, of course. Gold coins? Stocks? A car? Securities? Bearer bonds would be a perfect remembrance. And I would be willing to spread them around as well!

I'm under the impression that a lot of what's posted on this forum is a "Figment of Someone's Imagination".
Is that true?
Or is this all the straight skinny.

Iilene didn't have alot in the natural sense. She did not have any gold, coins of any value, war bonds, etc. . What was of greater value to her was friends made ..
Even though she was a figment of my imagination, I had alot of fun posting as her. I really enjoyed the interaction with other people when I was posting as Iilene. But we won't be back.

That makes me sad, Gem, when you say that you and Iilene will not be back. You are a delight on this board, and the board is better for you both having been here. I saw a post that was unkind toward you -- may you find the peace of mind to blow it off.
love, g

To Gene-thank you sir for those kind words! Then I read where you said about Iilene and myself not coming back. I read my post over again and I am . I made a mistake when I said I wouldn't be back. I meant to just say Iilene won't be back. As far as the unkind post I have no hard feelings towards him. Gem

Hey everyone,
Don't feel sorry for Iilene. She's a crafty ol' broad, and it appears that she's been involved in money laundering for quite some time.
I picture her sitting in her rocking chair, sipping on a hot cup of tea while she waits for her money to dry.
I know she's got a big heart, so I imagine she's using all that cash to help the needy, orphans and widows. I'm also pretty sure the local animal shelter will benefit from her generous heart.
I know she taught me a lot, and every time I see a box of Gain laundry detergent I'll think of her with fondness. ;D
