Stelfox, Frank Leslie: Passed away at the age of 92 on Sunday, July 8th, 2007. Frank was born May 6th, 1915 in Killam, Alberta. He was the 3rd of 9 children born to Albert and Esther (Hettie) Stelfox. Frank was in the Ministry of the Gospel for 42 years.
He will be remembered with love by Betty, wife of nearly 28 years; whom will dearly miss Frank, "Miracle Abigaelle", his 10 year old Haitian foster daughter; one brother Joseph (Vivian) Stelfox of Brentwood Bay, BC, two sisters; Beatrice (Frederick) Knipe of Cochran, AB, and Andrea Stelfox of Edmonton, AB. Also sadly missed by Betty’s family; Neil (Martha) Peters of Kelowna, BC, John (Lydia) Peters also of Kelowna, BC, Ann (Peter) Friesen of Surrey, BC, Margaret (jake) Ketler of Edmonton, AB, Susan Friesen of Abbotsford, BC, Harriet Peters of Kamloops, BC, Helen (Dan) McLean of Grand Forks, BC, and George (Leona) Peters of Chilliwack, BC.
"Uncle Frank" will be greatly missed by numerous nephews and nieces from both sides "of the house". All who knew "our dear Frank, by name and nature" will sadly miss him! Frank was predeceased by his parents, one brother Thomas and wife Muriel, Jessie and husband Bill Murchy, Kathleen and husband John Blonke, Esther Knipe, Joyce and husband Murray Howlett. Honorable mention, Betty’s aunts; Helen Semturis of Delta, BC, Mariechen Isaak of Siberia and Anna Isaak of Germany.
A Visitation is taking place from 7-8:30 P.M. on Sunday, July 15th, 2007 at Hansons’ Arbor Funeral Chapel, 527 Ellis Street, Penticton, BC with a Funeral Service following at 2:30 P.M. on Monday, July 16th, 2007 at the Penticton Trade & Convention Centre, 273 Power Street, Penticton, BC, officiating by Mr. Gordon Winkler and Mr. Arnold Blonke. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Penticton Regional Hospital, The Canadian National Institute for the Blind and/or charity of your choice. Messages of condolence may be emailed in c/o to hansons@shawcable.com.
