She went in the hospital about 8am for pain in her upper back. While she was in Olmsted hospital her vital signs went down and her bloodwork was out of wack so they took the baby emergency C-section. It took them 4 minutes to get her heart going again and then they quickly lost the beat, and never regained it. She died in tranfer to St. Mary's Hospital. They still don't know what happened... but now it is clear that she didn't go into the hospital because she was in labor. The baby was due April 29th. He is 7lbs 4 oz. Rod and Donna did not see her while she was still alive.

I knew Magsams from River Falls area. Went to meeting with them while attending college there. I'm not sure who this Heidi Magsam is, though. andy

Sorry to hear of Heidi Lins death.
Can anyone tell me if Heidi Lin would have been Bill and Noraye Magsams neice or grand neice? Would this Rod have possibly been Bill and /or Norayes son?
Bill and Noraye lived in Kelowna BC (Canada) for a time - Bill worked for one of the large chain stores - Safeway perhaps?
Bills sister Bertha was a worker in the midwest where the Magsams came from {if my memory serves correct} Pedrhaps - Minnesota - ? I would love to get in touch with Bill and Noraye again. thanks and my condolences to all in the family Am I correct that the baby is alright?

Rod's parents are Ray and Edna. I believe Ray and Edna had 12 children. All of Rod's siblings were at the funeral. The baby is a beautiful, healthy boy who is now being raised by his grandparents.
