Does Kuwait ring a bell? Robb Kuwait was a rich country, and the U.S. would look good protecting a little country. Plus, we could beat up a bit on a dictator. And try out desert warfare tactics and the cruise missles, and the patriot missles. What better way than to try them on the perfect opportunity on hand? andy

The media is overstating Iraqi violence. Washington DC has 1000 murders per year but nobody considers it to be unstable. Sudan is far more violent. Hell they will kill you and eat you in some African countries but nobody knows about it. And liberals never realize that Wesley Clark's little war in Yugoslavia killed innocent civilians and it wasn't a threat to us. Sure you had ethnic cleansing. Saddam had torture chambers.

More proof that drugs do cause brain damage. Robb ;D Just go with the argumentum ad hominem. No point in answering the question.

The media is overstating Iraqi violence. Washington DC has 1000 murders per year but nobody considers it to be unstable. Within your myopic view I am sure this makes sense. But the number of people dying in Iraq probably should include all humans and not just the American troops. If the bombs were set off in Washington, D.C. at the same rate that they are going off in Iraq the population of the city would be approching zero. The death toll in Iraq is far more than 1,000. This sounds like your argument when the US soldiers were torturing the prisoners. "Well, we did not torture them as badly as other countries do." As an American I think we should strive for something a little higher than to not be as evil as other countries. You are right. That war was as bad as this one. Yet you support the killing. How is one any better than the other?
