I wished Mr. Greenspan would leave interest rates alone. Why slow the economy just to prevent inflation? When will his stint expire? He has served under at least 3 presidents!

Why do you wish he'd leave interest rates alone? Low interest rates are great for a while, but the Fed can't just hand out money for (almost) nothing. In the long run it will cause rapidly increasing inflation rates, so I think it's a good moment to raise interest rates again.

They need to be going up now. The market and jobs are improving. This goes hand in hand with the economy and with rates.
