Do you think Jefferson Davis whined about the conditions of prison camps at Andersonville GA at the end of the war in 1865? No. Folks, this is WAR. WAR against terrorism. Until we stop being the nice guys, we aren't going to get respect. WE CANNOT MAKE THOSE THUGS LOVE US. THEY HATE US BECAUSE WE HAVE A prosperous and modern society while they are stuck in stupid traditions. But of course it is Donald Rumsfeld's fault! I am so sick of the liberal media that I could whip some media arse! Those prisoners were in jail for a reason. There is nothing wrong with interrogation. We have got to stop being the good guys. I bet some of those sweet prisoners abused people in the torture chambers. The anti-American liberals won't talk about this.

Do you think Jefferson Davis whined about the conditions of prison camps at Andersonville GA at the end of the war in 1865? No. Your stellar grasp of the facts leads me to question your motives for posting this. Why would the president of the Confederacy complain about the conditions in a Confederate prison? If anything he should complained about the fact that he was imprisoned for two years without due process. The United States did complain and 'whine' about the fact that more than 12,000 died due to the conditions there. Captain Henry Wirz was tried, convicted, and executed for war crimes. He was guilty of atrocities not repeated until the concentration camps in Germany. It was war but there are some crimes that are wrong in peace or war. This was true in 1865 in Andersonville. It was true in 1945 in Germany and Japan. It is certainly true in Cuba and Iraq in 2004. I would suggest that you spend a but more time discovering the facts and getting your ducks in a row before you end up whipping the wrong ass! A noble goal. We should start being the terrorists?

Sorry Present - you already ARE the terrorists. Maybe you are not yet conscious of it. Michael Moore, Woody Allen and Noam Chomsky are.

Sorry Present - you already ARE the terrorists. Maybe you are not yet conscious of it. Michael Moore, Woody Allen and Noam Chomsky are. I am doing my best to hold them back! Trying to stick to the high road. I am guessing that terrorists will strike again in the US. The reality is there is no way to have complete security if we want to live normal lives. I fear the hysteria that will result if there is another terrorist attack. With the current level of rationality it is not beyond the pale that we will be invading any number of countries in our quixotical quest to best the windmills. Prepare your shelter!
