Andy, Saudi Arabia is financing the building of Muslim mosques in the West. In the US, there is the Muslim political propaganda machine called C.A.R.E. What should Christians do? Should we be content knowing that many people have no idea of a Savior? Ed

Andy, Saudi Arabia is financing the building of Muslim mosques in the West. In the US, there is the Muslim political propaganda machine called C.A.R.E. What should Christians do? Should we be content knowing that many people have no idea of a Savior? Ed I suppose as far as the christian ideals go, then I suppose that is right up their alley. But, as far as peace goes, I don't expect that will help much. Christianity isn't quite so rosy as some people would like us to believe, and mixing it right in the middle of an Islamic culture can only muddle things more. And so what if Saudi Arabia is funding building mosques? Are you so insecure with your 'religiosity' and feel threatened by the Muslims that you feel the need to call "C.A.R.E." (whatever that is) a "Muslim political propaganda machine"? Christianity doesn't have their own "propaganda machines"? Here's a quote taken directly from the link you provided: Now, if that isn't an example of a Christian propaganda machine, then I'm from Mars. Muslims are trying to spread their "word of truth" just as Christians are trying to do in Iraq. The difference is that in the U.S. there is a provision for the freedom of religion, permitting such a spread. In the Middle East, a highly Muslim concentrated area where Islam attracts the more reactive fundamentalists than Christianity does, the handing out of Bibles and Christian beliefs could only inflame tensions. I suppose that it could be possible that by handing out Bibles it coud lead to more tolerance of other religions, but I think it will take much more than just handing out Bibles for that to happen. You feel threatened by the building of mosques and the spread of Islam into the U.S. And you are reacting how? By condemning Islam and calling the movement in the U.S. a propaganda machine. Do you really think that the overall reaction in Iraq towards the spread if Christianity will be any different from your reaction to the spread of Islam in the U.S.? andy
