"It's NOT about compassion!" It never is for selfish people......and the same goes for grace...... ** If you speak your Hebrewic CRA* and your non-exclusive stuff in USA conventions and Sunday morning meetings a few times, they will ask you go back to your down under meetings and sprout it there. Threat Guilt Shame.....The gospel according to Nathan!

If you were honest about your beliefs in Sunday meetings you would be getting a visit from the Workers nathan ! You are such a hypocrite, you are so busy trying to promote yourself that you don't even see the irony of what you say ! ** Jesus said be Wise as Serpent and Harmless as the dove! They can read on TMB better than in Sunday meetings. They can digest, meditate on the information at their own leisure.

*** When I asked for proof from Curly, and Enuf, they are no where to be found. I have told you that I will not divulge who my informant is in the PNW. That would be allowing you to bully and harrass them like you do on here. You can twist my denying you that information which ever way you want but it does not change what I have been told about you. Its been so long now I can't remember the surname, but when we went to meeting in Moses Lake, WA the elder who was a pilot took us up in his airplane. Wonder if that might be your source?

How about further down in that same chapter I Cor. 14:33-35
34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

The women should keep quite and NOT to disturb the gathering with all kinds of questions in the gathering, they should ask their husband when they get homes. The Speakers with different languages, must have translators to translate what he said or keep silence.

Were did you find this idea "NOT to disturb the gathering with all kinds of questions in the gathering"? Is that something you made up or is it in the bible? I find it interesting that the RCC doesn't see it that way, and that even today in the middle east, women are very much subservient to the men. A plain reading of 34 & 35 fits with what we find.

I believe it to be fairly clear it was questions that were being asked during the service and probably of the disruptive kind.

The Church at Corinth dad MANY problems, issues, fighting and take each others to court, teaching false doctrines, immorality, having sex with temple prostitutes and so on need to be addressed and solved so the church leaders wrote to Paul and pleaded with him to intervene and solved these issues for them.

Because we have the same humans natures problems to contend with. In 95 A.D. In the book of Rev. We read about the 7 churches had many Problems, issues caused major headaches that the resurrected Jesus had to solve. Today the 2x2s have similar problems the workrrs must deal with like in the 1st century And in 95 A.D. When I was in the work we dealt with all kinds of problems within the 2x2s churches and we had problems within CSA ministry!

Back to Brad Lewis.
He contacted me once about a decade ago on two subjects.
- Old photos of the workers
- Old audio recordings of conventions.
He seemed like a rational person to me.

Since science started making discoveries that blew many of the claims of religions, out of the water, religion has become increasingly irrelevant except to the gullibles. This subject brings to mind some family history. My grandmother Stone as a young lady worked with a traveling doctor in Indiana. I think her home base was either Logansport or Peru. Somewhere along the travels she made caring for the sick she heard the Gospel preached by sister workers (Marry Spires and Mary Kelly). Sometime later my grandfather Stone was hired by the doctor to drive the car his team traveled in. One thing led to another. My grandmother and grandfather got married. This then caused a problem for the 2x2 church. First they told my grandmother she could no longer take part in the meeting. Next they told her she was not welcome in meetings. A year goes by and the workers tell her they have gone through a learning experience and she is welcome back to meetings with full rights. Apparently the workers in the early 1900s were still working on policy. Soon after my grandmother returned her husband professed.

The only people exempt from the rules were the rule makers.

The culture changes you mention such as corporal punishment are not the result of your mythical holy spirit. They are law changes brought about by people concerned about violence towards children in the home and school. It is wishful thinkling that they were led by your mythical holy spirit. For evidence that your mythical holy spirit had no input into those law changes, just have a look at how many religious leaders still advocate beating children.

Children were not beaten. The rod was the law. Teach your children the law and they will not go astray. If you were able to understand the customs of the times, you would know that. Perhaps you need a Hebrew mind.

Christians often use the Bible to justify beating their children. They're the first to criticize the law against it.
