Proud of a nation that you have to carry a gun to feel safe and try and tell everyone you have freedom ! You really don't get it do you ? We don't have the gun culture of the US. We don't need to carry guns down the street and we don't want to. How sad is it to not feel safe without your gun, even in the meeting ! I don't feel safe I am safe....Like I said I'll never be a victim like you sheeple....So cower behind a locked door and dial the police...when seconds count they are only minutes away.... Paul's advice was for women to keep silent in the church. He would not suffer a woman to speak in the church. Wally is just reinforcing Paul's teachings. Leave him alone. Wally's policy must be working as I haven't heard of him shooting anyone yet? The real problem is that there is a very much pro gun culture in the US, whereas in the rest of the English speaking world (those with correct grammar and spelling) there is a very strong anti gun culture. Just think how popular Westerns would be if there were no guns? He doesn't like Paul so why compare what he says with what Paul says or is this you just taking the p... again. |

JUst read our news and learn how many people get killed dally because they don't know how to protect themselves |

This is where a US mindset and that shared by the rest of the professing world are at variance. Our argument is that the possession of firearms except for strictly controlled purposes is unlawful. Guns are hard to get hold off where I live. Lawful people people may go to hell and kick rocks, but it will be for reasons other than the possession of firearms. It appears that a US mindset cannot understand a culture where there are very few firearms amongst the general public and the benefits this holds for society. This is not a criticism but a very serious observation. |
