What is it?

I think it is too dificult to make black and white rules, eh?
We shouldn't mess with what God puts together, and for us to mess around withit, is dangerous.
Yet we can have ''guidelines'' and other means of taking this issue seriously, even if we are not allowed to speak in mtg., that does not mean that you are unworthy to, but that is misunderstood to be the reasoning behind it.
It seems that in order to have a ''certain standard'' upheld, we need some kind of ''group agreement'' of whatever manner it be, otherwise people would go be-zerk like they do in the ''world'' and all the divorcing that goes on.
I think some people just like to stir things up, too much, tho.

Standing True consists of a Proboards Discussion Board and a Yahoo E-Mail Group. The Discussion Board is OPEN to the public. This is how they introduce themselves: This bored is dedicated to the Professing people who serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through Faith and Works through the Workers through the Workers Rules as loosely told in the New Testement of the Holy Bible as selectively interpreted by our workers. All other so-called Christians need not apply. Jesus did not have multiple personality disorder and neither does his true church. We are the only way to heaven and everyone knows it they just don't want to admit it. Jesus was our head worker and some people think he was like a savior or something. We are known by many names given by others and otherwise have had to regester under various names in various Countries for military and tax purposes to better allow us to launder our considerable wealth. While we still claim no denominational name we often refer to ourselves amongst ourselves as The Friends, The Truth, The Way, and NAMBLA. Taking no official name allows us to distance ourselves from controversy when it comes up. Others refer to us as 2by2's in reference to the way in which our ministers travel to their respective fields in pairs much as Jesus sent the 12 and then, we assume and allege, the 70 during His life on earth. Our ministers are often refered to amongst us as Servants, Workers, or Shepherds. Men are sent with men and women with women into the Work. This is our placement for homosexuals. These Workers preach and teach the Word of Jesus Christ as selectively interpreted by our workers from what is recorded in the King James Version of the Holy Bible. They dedicate thier entire lives in most cases (unless their in-depth behind the scenes view of our sect gives them an excuse to abandon God, become atheists, and leave) to God (as we define him anyway), giving up all (at first glance anyway) including a home (in exchange for a vacation "batch" of their own and a private room in each of hundreds of really nice homes), job (in exchange for a career that's hard to lose), family (in exchange for lots of little kiddies *ahem* sitting *ahem* on their laps) and security (in exchange for a secret stash of cash, property, investments, cradle to grave health care, and guaranteed retirement provisions all while never having to worry in the least about paying bills or dealing with the drudgery of everyday paperwork) for the ministry. Our Church Meetings are most usually held in the homes of the worker approved and chosen Elders around the country and around the world. We meet on Sunday morning for prayer recital, singing of hymns we use with permission of worldy churches, giving of testimonies for edification of others (telling others that their suffering isn't any worse than our own - giving misery company), sharing of the Emblems of Remembrance of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ broken and shed on the Cross to redeem us from our sins (provided we do our part in earning our half of salvation), and to quietly share our loathing and condemnation of all the lost worldy churches out there. After meeting we discuss church gossip, shake hands, and arrange for the next weeks wife-swap. We hold several 3 - 4 day conventions each year located around the world in "farm sheds" we usually end up building for our own purposes and paying for with our considerable wealth, and in many languages. Most areas (those that really want to follow Jesus' example) have a one day Special Meeting each year also so that many can come and not only worship but hear from invited guest Workers from other areas. geoff - you have not seen anyone booted off Diane's old board. You have to be kidding. I know of several that got booted for almost nothing at all. Don't bad mouth any worker is #1. D & R another. Mr. Nathan says it is because of different worker's items posted. They are also on other boards and lists and he knows it. On the Standing True list just go to it and see how many are listed as moderators. He just takes 1st chair. Check it out. Most things you don't have to be a member to read.
