Are we present day Christians the body or the bride of Christ? It is my understanding that the church (ecclesia - sp?) are the body of Christ. I believe that there is a special group that will be the bride of Christ. The only description of the bride I can find is in Rev. 21:9 and on. It is also my opinion that the 'general population of the Church are not both the body and the bride. Best regards, Edy

We are "the body" each christian, He (Jesus Christ) is the bridegroom. There will be a Wedding Feast. The Bride is "making herself ready", I have always believed is Christians growing from "glory to glory", being fed first the milk of the Word and then meat of the Word. Growing and being perfected in him. We are not perefected until we die. I think Christians are the Bride.
I do not think there is any favouritism in Heaven, There are different gifts and crowns that will be given for certain things. eg: Martyrs.
