When I was a teenager, I went to a Scientology class and sure enough they tried to recruit me. They said I was doomed without them They said they could create a new me They used all kinds of methods on me Offering acceptance Offering hope Offering power Offering to remove the fear they created in me by the consequences of not following them, I said sure, okay, then I left and never returned. Years and years later I went to a 2x2 Gospel meeting and found the exact same mindset there. WOW - Fortunately The Holy Ghost was with me, and I understood what the "method" to their madness was. The Devil loves a coward Revelations says the fearful will not be in the kingdom of God Makes since to me......how can someone who always chooses by fear ever get past the tactics of fear this world and the devil use to keep us in check and away from the Truth? Meek yes - Humble yes - Fearful No- SECRET: Hope, Faith, and Charity OVERCOMES FEAR

I went to a Scientology recruitment meeting in the '70s. After watching the film, and filling out a questionaire, they started the hard sell; trying to get me to get to the bank as soon as possible, and give them as much money as I possibly could. Scientology might be just the thing for the John Travoltas & the...what's 'is name? Probably not for people with modest bank accounts.
