In defense of convention kitchens I would say their alot cleaner than most commercial restaurants. Very well kept up. Now I bet the sleeping quarters needs fire sprinklers and emergency lighting if it has not already been done.

I heard that a convention grounds in Canada has been shut down. Any information? It seems that the hair nets that were covering the buns were a bit to stylish, hence the head worker ordered the removal of them. Well, about that time the inspector showed up,the rest is history.

"I heard that a convention grounds in Canada has been shut down."
Could we be so lucky? Now IF all the others areas would follow suit. Oh HAPPY day!

Was it not Crocknacrieve in Ireland ? Consider yourself a little to late. Although I did hear the story of one of the conventions here in Ireland maybe 80years ago when a large number of those attending became ill. However I do think this is a 'cause trouble' thread, unless it is proved otherwise.
