Is it disturbing to anyone else that on a supposed "truth meetings board" there are so many people talking about, agreeing with and supporting homosexuality, public nudity, sex* and other immoral things? I thought people were going to meetings because they believe in and love the LORD. If this is about meetings with people from meetings on it, why are they talking about immoral subjects? Not just talking about the subjects, talking about liking them and supporting them?
The Bible says: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: Leviticus 18:22-24
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. Leviticus 20:13

*not always bad but in the context I have seen here it is.

This "board" isn't about meetings. It's about people who for the most part hate/dislike meetings and anything to do with them.

It is not exactly truthful to say these are on this specific board. Those are all from the "Wordly Board" which, if you notice has significantly fewer posts than this one.

Yes I am. I also used to be a part of the "truth meetings". Yes, that is all true. I'm curious though why you posted that. I am not judging or condemning those who posted about immoral subjects, I merely asked if it was disturbing to anyone else that people are posting those things on a forum that is supposed to be about a Christian fellowship group. That and some of the people at least say that they are Christians or just follow the Lord. I'm not judging them and saying they will go to hell. I don't know that, that is for the Lord to decide. We can question the actions of others without judging them. I have posted what the Scripture says about the subjects so that those who say they are believers can make up their own minds about it and see what the Lord says about it.

This board focuses on non-religious topics-politics, sports, health, lifestyles, music, sex, cars, clothing, marriage, finances, computers, education, and other non-religious topics.

You are the second person to bring that up and I'll tell you what I told the other person. Worldly, there are some 'worldly' things that Christians should not participate in. If you are saying that none of those people are Christians or part of the 'Truth' meetings, then ok. If some of these people do claim to be Christians or are part of the "truth" meetings, they should not be there. Just because it's for "non-religious" topics doesn't change who is talking, what they're saying and the immorality of it.

It talks in the Bible about liars being sinful, but that seems okay to you.... Maybe then homosexuality is okay to others...

Don't tell me you've never wondered about a nude beach? wondered about the love scenes in the movie Brokeback Mtn., etc.
We are exposed to these types of things everyday whether we are christian or not so what's wrong about discussing such topics?
Do you only read the Bible? Because if you read the newspaper, Newsweek or Time, Life, Reader's Digest, the list goes on, you'll be exposed to lots of non christian things. BEWARE!

Why don't you stop attacking me for coming back and tell me that the Bible is wrong. To "headinthesand" Yes, in the world you will come in contact with a lot of "non-Christian" things and evil things. Does that mean you have to take part in those things? No. Does that mean that the Bible is only for in your house or at church? No. It is for EVERY place and every time. I'm not saying I read my Bible and that's it. I do stay away from evil things though.
