Reading here for a long while now. The posts of the staunchly professing, defending the system, sour me more than the ones of the exes.
signed, not against meeting

I have every understanding for the frustration of proffessing folks, who feel a responsibility to defend their system, and at the same time try to retain at least a trace of dignity and honesty. It is a hopeless task --- and this depth of hopelessness always breeds the kind of frantic banging and shouting that we often see on this list!

As a B&R F&W myself (with a sibling worker), what frustrates me is the parochial ignorance displayed by many. But this is characterisitic of many of the workers (who spurn any form of education, as distinct from indoctrination).
The workers exhibit an amazing propensity to latch onto any factoid and spiritualise it, without doing any research. This example is then perpetuated by the masses when questioned about their faith. Few amongst the F&W do any research (religious or otherwise).

Might as well say the same words to yourself. Every finger you (or I) point at some one else you have 2 pointing back to yourself. Ok - I am just remembering, when someone leaves and if they see the errors in the group they used to go to (i.e. meetings) then they are accused of being bitter. You are on the way to being bitter, because a 2x2 said it? Is it that the 2x2s feel bitter about anyone who leaves. That appears to be a more accurate description in my experience.

Please note that although I sometimes use oriental sounding names, I am not the person who has posted as "Bong Po Xian !" Similarly, I am not "Nathan9."

The 2x2's are fruitless Christians Most of the 2x2s born again/Christians will disagree with your opinion 100%. I wasn't asking you or anyone else to agree with me. It is not an accusation, but an observation..... Sorry if it does not flatter the way they like to be flattered

I wasn't asking you or anyone else to agree with me. It is not an accusation, but an observation..... Sorry if it does not flatter the way they like to be flattered I hope you don't mind that I share my own observation from a 2x2 point of view. How about being objective, the Truth goes beyond perspective. It is the thing past the end of your nose, where your brain cannot influence it. It is spiritual in nature, not of the flesh, not full of self preference, and the built in bias of your flesh experieces and your attempts of rational logic. Trying to figure God out is a waste of time. Let God lead you, and he will show you who he is. Let God work a miracle in you. He loves to fulfill and amaze his children. His promises are like Gold. What experiences have you had with Jesus? What has he done for you? What does he do for the 2x2's, that he does not do for Christianity as a whole? Why do so many celebrate his glory, and you deny their salvation? Don't hide behind the scriptures, just give your testimony, if you have any. What has faith done for you, that it hasn't done for others?

The 2x2's are fruitless Christians Pretty harsh. Did you have tough parenting or was the whole church experience bad for you?

The 2x2's are fruitless Christians Pretty harsh. Did you have tough parenting or was the whole church experience bad for you? Well Mr Lee, I had a vision when I was doing the 2x2 way. I saw a women I thought to be a worker and she was sitting in a chair next to a field with a bunch of very whithered crops. You could tell the effort had been put into the planting and sowing of this crop. The plants where evenly spaced apart, but fruitless for sure. I believe this is a spiritual perspective. They needed some rain............The Truth comes in a storm, the flesh does not surrender without a fight does it? God has buckets of all the that is needed, ready to bring a fruitful crop to harvest. Praise the Lord !! PS. My parents stood by me unconditionally all throughout my rebellious youth. They are the best.

He has blessed me with natural and spiritual blessings. If your goal is to keep it vague and empty, I believe you have done so !!

I made it short and sweet, just the way you gave it to me. ;D You made it short and sweet but I don't understand what you're talking about... You understood my answers. Your answer is not clear, too vague, and confusing. Can you explain what you mean by your answers. Thanks, in advance. Believe it or not I don't want to hurt your feelings. If your cupboard is bare, so be it. I will go knock on someone elses door, just like a beggar !!
