Would someone list the differances between lesser commission and greater commission?

There is a difference between choosing not to answer and not knowing the answer.

Jesus told his apostles now he that has a purse let him take it same with a scrip now he that hath a scrip let him take it! Before all this it is true Jesus told his apostles to forsake all and follow

2x2s say that this above quote means that some of the apostles were holding back they didn't forsake all I doubt this very much

Many other denominations show plainly by there preaching that they don't understand differances beteen the two commissions? There is always something to seperate the men from the boys

When I listen to various preachers I can see they misunderstand the differances between lesser commission and greater commission

Commission, Listen up, etc.
Are you crying out to God for a lost world? Who are you? Everyone who Names the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ should openly proclaim His word. All His disciples except for one died brutal deaths for His Name. They died preaching the Word.
Where is the salt and the light? Why keep me in the dark? Perhaps I am lost. I am crying out to you. You have this knowledge of the lesser and greater commissions. Tell me what it means. Give me knowlege.
Are you hoarding it all for yourself? To what end? Is a Christian selfish? Jessi

To Jessi If the gospel of christ is so important Jessi why did Jesus tell his apostles not to go to the gentiles?

Right on Greg I never hear radio preachers acknowledge this

It was not a "lesser commission !" It was an invitation to those who had inherited the right to the marriage feast. They were Jews the same as Jesus. They rejected the invitation and so the invitation was given out to the world at large (great commission due to greater numbers invited?) for any who were willing to attend the marriage feast.

Correct in a numerical sense. In a relationship sense, it's the other way round.

But ain't the N.T. gospels an address to the house of Israel yet most preachers refer to there quotes from the gospels leaving the implication it applies still today

Strange nobody knew how to answer this one? I think the bottom line is we are saved by the saving grace of Jesus and many folks will not accept that because they think it is a ticket to sin.We all sin do you figure your works your good works will prevent sin
