Is heaven entry/one's salvation a democratic procedure?
Does your salvation depend on the 2x2s' vote?
What purpose does this vote really serve, other than "I told you so" or "You think the 2x2s' have an exclusive right to salvation" type of attitude after they reply!
It serve no purpose. Please let this die with no votes/responses.

Is heaven entry/one's salvation a democratic procedure? No, and the question does not suggest otherwise. Does your salvation depend on the 2x2s' vote? No, and the question does not suggest otherwise. What purpose does this vote really serve, other than "I told you so" or "You think the 2x2s' have an exclusive right to salvation" type of attitude after they reply! It's a survey asking a question. I trust you understand what a question is. It serve no purpose. Please let this die with no votes/responses. Too late.

Christians who do not attend 2x2 meetings... ...can they receive salvation? Absolutely How can I say that? Worship the Lord they God with all they heart, soul, mind and strength and then you will have salvation.

I know this is too long for people to respond to here. But read thru it and answer in your own heart. Hopefully it will help you know WHAT you believe and WHY you believe.
What is the name of your church/religion/faith? What does it mean to be "saved"? Are you saved? Explain why you feel that you are or are not. If your answer to the above question is yes, how did you get saved? If your answer is no, do you know how you can be saved? If a person is once saved, can they ever lose their salvation? Explain why or why not. How many ways are there to be saved? What does it mean to be saved by grace? Do you believe in being saved by grace or by works? Do you think that people in your church/religion/faith are the only ones that are saved? Why or why not? How do you know that God exists? If God really does exist, why is there so much suffering in the world? How do you know that the Bible is true? What version of the Bible should we read? Is it okay to read other Bibles besides the King James version? What's the difference between the Old Testament and the New Testament? Which one should we read? Do you keep the Ten Commandments? Who is Jesus? Is Jesus God? Explain what you mean. Why is it so important to know about Jesus? Wasn't He just one of many good teachers? What happens to people in places where they've never read the Bible or heard of Jesus? Who (or what) is the Holy Spirit? Is it more correct to refer to the Holy Spirit as "He" or "it"? Why? What do you believe about the Trinity? What is sin? Is there really such a place as heaven and hell? If God were really good, why would He make people go to hell? What does it mean to be born again? What is baptism all about? Is it right to baptize by sprinkling or pouring? Why or why not? Is it right to baptize infants and children? Why or why not? Can you be saved without being baptized? Why or why not? What do you mean by passing around bread and grape juice in your meetings on Sunday mornings? Why do some people take the bread and grape juice and others don't? Doesn't it say in the Bible that you're supposed to use wine? Why do you use grape juice? Is Sunday more special than other days? Why or why not? Are there rules about what you can and can't do on Sunday? When did the Sabbath get changed from Saturday to Sunday? Do you believe in divine healing? Why or why not? Do you believe in speaking in tongues? Why or why not? Why are people supposed to get married? Is it okay to get a divorce? Can people who get divorced and remarried be saved? How does God feel about abortion? What do you believe about the rapture/the Lord's return? Why do men in your church have short hair? Why do women in your church have long hair? Why do you dress the way you do? Why are there so many religions in the world? When/where/how did your church start? Who started it? What makes your church/religion/faith different from others? Why do you belong to the church/religion/faith you belong to? Why don't you build church buildings? Why does your church have some meetings in homes and other meetings in public buildings? Why don't your preachers have their own houses? How do your preachers get paid? Why don't they have a salary? Is it necessary to tithe? Why or why not? Why do your preachers usually go two together? Can your preachers get married? Why or why not? Why do you have women preachers? Why do women speak in your meetings when the Bible says women should keep silent?

When I was a 2x2 I didn't know what salvation was. I never heard the word used in meetings for over 31 years by either workers or friends. I didn't know that anyone was saved nor that there was assured salvation because I didn't know what salvation was nor what it meant or entailed and, moreso, what it doesn't entail.

Sadly, I think there are many that could say the same thing as "FWIW".....they have sat thru countless meetings and conventions and never heard about "salvation." What a pity...

I heard a worker talk about salvation in a gospel meeting once. He concluded his time by saying he didn't know if he was saved or not.

I must belong to a different 2X2 group! I've heard the word salvation used countless times in gospel meetings, and we sometimes sing that hymn, "God's salvation is the Christ within..." I live in the NW U.S., BTW.
