How does your present life-style compare with your former professing life-style when you were professing?
Music, concerts, movies, TV, fashion...alcohol, etc.?

Gene, has your lifestyle not changed?
Guess you had a male partner then and have one now.
Guess you choose your own partner now where as in the work he was chosen for you....
Question 1: When did you decide you were gay, before, during or after you were in the work?
Must ask - Question 2 : you were in the work weren't you?

Question 1: When did you decide you were gay, before, during or after you were in the work? Must ask - Question 2 : you were in the work weren't you? Q1: I first was aware of same-sex attraction when I was about 12 years old. For many years, including those years before, during, and after the worker years, I fought, resisted, and denied being gay rather than accepting it as part of my being. That mind-set resulted in some really poor decisions that hurt people; decisions which I will always regret. I was in my thirties when I finally accepted that I am what I am, and like most, am still working on being a responsible custodian of the life I've been given. Does that answer the question? I wouldn't say I "decided" I was gay -- I knew it at 12, and accepted it in my thirties. Q2: Yes.

How does your present life-style compare with your former professing life-style when you were professing? Music, concerts, movies, TV, fashion...alcohol, etc.? I find that the number of people I am attacking each day is faw fewer. I am only dismembering 2-3 people a month while under that damned cult it was 4-5 people a week. What a**hole comes up with this stuff and why do fools like me respond! Keeps the traffic up though. I'll bet the Administrator asks the questions. His on-line dating has slowed down and he is bored!

Mr. Man:
I think your write in jest when you say 'I find the number of people I am attacking each day is fewer. I am only dismembering 2-3 people a month while under that damned cult it was 4-5 people per week'.
However, I have found this to be true in my life.
When professing, I was constantly criticizing others. Want to know why? Because when you can't love yourself ('I die daily', 'God 1st, other's 2nd, self last', etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.) you can't love others.
Now, I love myself and along with that comes, at the very least tolerance, and at the most, love for others.

My life now is much more centered around God than it was before. Before it was centered around appearing Godly and what others might think and around trying to have something to speak about in meeting. Now it is much more about being in his Word, about loving others, about fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ, about spreading the Gospel. I'm not saying that my experience in the f&w is what everyone's was but I bet it's not a million miles off either. I also think that many people's experiences in the f&w are centered around "worry". How freeing it is to not "worry".

How does your present life-style compare with your former professing life-style when you were professing? Music, concerts, movies, TV, fashion...alcohol, etc.? I am openly thankful. I tell people that I'm thankful for what God is doing in my life. I write it in e-mails. I am SO thankful! As we go places and are open to others, we find so much opportunity to share the gospel message. There are so many opportunities to talk about Jesus, God....with other believers and others who do not believe. AND we welcome others to talk to us about their spiritual beliefs. That is how my life has changed. I no longer have to connive how to get this person to gospel meeting. I don't have to fix up a way for them to meet the workers. We read time and time again how "professing" people go to concerts, nightclubs, drink alcohol, wear fashionable clothing (including slacks/capris), watch movies, have TV, etc. Any changes I have made in my life along these lines means nothing since so many of the "professing" people already do it. sin,
I dunno...something about your message (warning him he's going to end up in hell)...just sounds so..insincere... Maybe it's because of the way you started off your message...with a term that shows such...hate.
And against someone who'se done you no harm...
Interesting...what it says about you...

For me, my family led a very cold sterile existence because everything had to be perfect for the workers. For example, we never had a pet because the house had to be perfect and a worker could have been allergic. Now I have brought a puppy into my life and lots of joy as well.

lifestyle changes for me----i was blind but now I see. God opened my eyes and now I see his Glory in life! I see that God hates religion but loves a relationship with me. I know that I love Him because He first loved me. I don't feel obligated to attend church services. I study the word of God. God is Good!!!
