forum.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=messageboard.viewCategory&CategoryID=0&GroupID=100707370&Mytoken=66E53712(Click on the first thread titled - "One true way(etc)......") The first person asks good questions and has genuine concerns. The responses are self-righteous claptrap with no grounding in scripture. So.... Is the first person indicative of the "new" F&W's and the other two exceptions? Or is it the other way around? Because the second two sound exactly like what I was raised with and sat under for 23 years. Are we seeing a move like the Mormons made, where the group goes on believing its own thing but they change their language when speaking to outsiders in an attempt to "sound" acceptable to mainstream Christianity? Or is there genuine change going on and these two young people aren't with the program?

The guy is sure trying to do brainwashing and make out the questioner has the problem and is lacking in faith. Typical brainwashing techniques to shut a person down. Typical worker tactics. The guy is 20 and says he has been in meetings in most countries that most people never get to in a life time, all by the age of 20.
He writes, I have been fortunate in being able to travel far and wide, and been in meeting in London, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Grand Cayman, far and wide across the US and several points in Canada, and in Hawaii, as well as being in meeting with people from Ukraine, Russia, South Africa, Mexico, Holland, France, New Zealand, Australia, Spain, Chile, Pakistan, India, and many other countries.

We care because we don't like to see people abused. The reply was plain abusive. And we care about people's salvation.

She probably regulars this board and is seeing the light. i.e finding out the truth about the truth. See the others go into denial claiming that it is different to other churches because it has no earthly founder. Guess that one is getting old and every one knows the truth about that now. About time they started telling the truth.
I am sure if I logged in and used my registered name that I would have a lot of posts up[ my belt by now and might even have a few stars by now.

Because it is your opinion that these people are self-righteous, you are right, right? I thank God I am not like these people Ring a bell?

Boy! These two guys answers really jangled my nerves! I've done some reading on that Board, and I am SO thankful to know the real truth and to have gotten out of THERE! Reading there is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me!!!
I continue to pray for my family and friends who still are so stuck! There are a few in the meetings that truly have a "clear channel" relationship with God, but they are still the very minority. The rest have channels to God that have the static of the party line that we read in these posts.
Best regards,
Edy

Personally, I feel that thread in its ENTIRETY pretty well illustrates the current state of affairs. There are these two very distinct camps....with any degree of variance in between. The real intriguing question is how big is "Michelle's" camp. I have no idea....but it's growing. We see the same thing on this board...as i c it and BC in "Michelle's" camp and Prue and Alan C in "Zach's" camp. And then there's Nathan.....in his own camp. Just kidding Nathan, just testing your funny bone

To be blinded to the real truth. To still think the world is flat.
