Workers often inject little comments into their sermons that attempt to put themselves above other human beings. Workers believe their ministry is the ONLY true ministry. They feel their ministry is the only one Jesus founded when he was here on the earth. All other ministries are lost and Satanic. A brother worker said "our authority comes from heaven!"
They love to point to Matthew 10 and prove their ministry is the only one that follows the scriptures.
I see the ministry as A true ministry along with other ministries that uphold Jesus. But the workers aren't the only avenues to Jesus! No!

Such self-serving lies. The only way I know to fight this garbage gospel of the workers is to get the individual 2x2 people to seek out Truth themselves. Yes it will separate them from the workers, but in that journey God will "look after" them just as he did me and all "Born Again" Christians.
How can they say they have some special connection to God when those who follow the workers bear witness to the workers and not Jesus?
They are a fruitless bunch of blind wannabes judging the work of God in real Christians and calling that work a waste.
So they call God a liar. They call all who do not worship their belief dead. They have telephone poles in their eyes and say all the others are false, but "look" at us we are not. Another lie. Pride and Vanity are their special special deadly sins. Whats new. They instill fear and arrogance in their followers, not Hope, Faith, and Charity..........
Is their a gnat to small for them to choke on? I think not.

You are absolutely right. And can you tell us what that fruit is?
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
I know so many "worldly Christians" who exhibit these things in everything they do, and so many 2x2 people who talk about it, but don't exhibit it.

Real Christians are those who have believed the true Gospel, not a counterfeit which gives glory to something other than God and His grace for salvation.

You just want to be sweet talked and seduced, don't you? The devil has you trapped in a fruitless box and you "think" everyone else is the reason. Quit making excuses, and follow Jesus, go get some Truth. Find out the score of the ball game. Get something from the hand of God. You don't have to spend eternity trying to appear as you think you should. Why not find out from God who you are? You have to first find out where you are, before you can move forward with Jesus guiding you. Do you have room for God in your life? Or are you your own God?

But the workers aren't the only avenues to Jesus! No! It is not the workers intention to put themselves above others but their comments are intended to convince others that theirs is the true ministry. They (and many of the friends) believe that they are Gods "true representatives on the earth" and they believe they are the true servants and serve the flock, but at the same time have authority over it! I agree with you that they are putting themselves above others in believing this, but they fail to see it this way. And if anyone tries to point out the error most of them don't listen and condemn the person as having a "wrong spirit". However there are some who say we must listen to the concerns and criticism of others and examine ourselves, study the scripture to see wether what they say is true. I believe this applies to all of us. If we don't do this we become pround and arrogant. If you are looking for fault in any Church group you will surely find it.

I agree with you, all churches are imperfect, some worse than others. I think the workers should start looking for their errors. They are human and flawed. If they took the monkey off their own backs, they could help get the monkeys off others backs. Christians are one. The workers have seperated themselves from the Truth with their own lips. As long as they keep this pretense up, the crop will be fruitless. They are victims of themselves and the devils lies. As it is now they have this "image" to maintain, that is a waste of their time. Faith is what they need, not their reputations. Jesus could not serve God and his reputation at the same time. Neither can the workers.............

I will if you will------------------> Sorry, anytime someone testifies that 3+4=8 .....I do have a problem believing any of their analogies, but I do understand that if the ''light'' that is in you is ''darkness'', that it is a very dark light. Hey, you can not see something when there is no light, and the workers have the light.

Hey, you can not see something when there is no light, and the workers have the light. Please do Tell.....me more !! Did Jesus forsake his reputation or not? Jesus did what God wanted him to do. The workers do what their "programming" tells them to do. You know the old monkey see, monkey do thing. How can we tell? You are a perfect example of a 2x2, you bear witness to what you know......the workers. The false light in them has got you hooked. Don't worry you get to spend forever with them in their own little kingdom. The one they bear witness too. I saw it myself, it is real nice resort living, but it is not God's kingdom they are taking you to. God will decide who is in that one Yes, lots and lots of those lost people the 2x2's pity so well. Yes we truly appreciate your pity, and we know thats all you have to offer anyone in the workers name, is your pity. Cause you just don't have anything else anyone would want. Now you could go get something from God to give someone, but then you couldn't follow the workers anymore, what a pity Hmmmmmm?

Such a shame so many of these threads disintegrate into insults and annoyance. Of course most workers believe they are the only true ministers of the gospel, just as their followers do, sincerely and utterly. Maybe there are some that don't and only say they do - there is no way of knowing, and there is certainly no way of judging the hearts of others. To those who no longer believe the Truth is the only way of worship which produces salvation, then it is their duty to leave and find something in which they do truly believe.
The workers can never, ever admit to a founding just 100 years ago, although they may call it a revival which is an entirely different thing. To admit the founding means the unbroken line of 'workers' going back to the sending out of the apostles, is an untrue claim. The Living Witness doctrine hypothesis says they must have existed, a claim refuted by the Truth's own founder, Eddie Cooney and the cause of the dispute and eventual schism between him and Irvine.
If there is no unbroken chain of workers, then the claim to be the only true gospel ministry cannot be sustained and of course, the workers would have no claim to the absolute authority they have over their followers, who would then have a choice of worship.

Ms Marie says that "Of course most workers believe they are the only true ministers of the gospel, just as their followers do, sincerely and utterly"
This is an unproven allegation. There will be some support for it on this board, especially given the anonymous nature of posts, mostly with another motive that to support or nt some other post.
She goes on to say that "The workers can never, ever admit to a founding just 100 years ago,..."
This also is untrue. I have heard many workers discuss quite openly the first workers ever, in Ireland, and subsequently the first workers even in many other countries. The timing of this start (late 1800s) is quite consistent with historical accounts. To say "never ever" makes this false. To say that " regionally some workers will not admit..." might be justifiable.
"The Living Witness doctrine hypothesis... " mentioned is not a universally held opinion. Nor are the outcomes of such a belief. This is a distraction, perhaps based on the American experience.?
In summary, to say that all workers claim to exclsuivley right is untrue. To say that all uphold the LWD is untrue.
The statement "To those who no longer believe the Truth is the only way of worship which produces salvation, then it is their duty to leave and find something in which they do truly believe." Is a poor attempt to join those that want to break up this fellowship. I doubt that many people who are part of some denomination or other, truly believe everything that is taught. They certainly dn't find an immediate need to exit on discovering something they don't like. So with 2x2s, its not all perfect, but that doesn't make a requirement to leave to find something that is.

So, then, "not claimed" would you agree that God leads people to different churches or no church at all and still be in harmony with God?

You have certainly misunderstood what I have said. To say that most of the friends and workers don't believe in their own doctrines is false, of course they do, why else would they continue?
It is also true that unless there is an unbroken chain of workers stretching back to the apostles, then they cannot claim to have the authority they do. If I understand correctly, what you state is that a lot of friends don't believe in a lot of what they subscribe to. I would say this is completely untrue. Most of the friends and workers I know are sincere and dedicated folks, dear folks most of them, believing utterly in all the doctrine - at least they do here in England!
I have never seen it as my obligation to 'break up' fellowships and would be distressed at the very thought. I can leave all that sort of thing in the safe hands of God.
