Don't pick on Lloyd. He is my friend. You didn't teach him spelling and grammar, did you? He could use a remedial course at the college or something.

Lloyd is dyslexic (sp). He is a perfectly intelligent person...just not one who perceives the common rules of spelling or punctuation.

Don't blame me if william irvine was down on education I mean to say that kinda doctrine is still present today i believe....hiding just below the surface ?

In times past...somewhat less today, the friends and workers were afraid of higher education. Seems it instilled non-Christian (especially non-2x2) values...and worst of all, perhaps, sharpened the students faculties for thinkng in a critical manner.
Today, college is pretty much taken for granted for professing kids (at least in my part of the world). A number of workers have college educations...or at least partial college educations.
