To all on List I believe william Irvine was on the right track initially that the many and varied religions were making more a mess out of everything W.I saw that and many others but it still wasn't right to be so exclusive and deceptive and unaccountable. If you were to ask me today I would say today what W.I said a long time ago...that is all the religions are defective I believe man has messed up everything and i just as well stay at home,i will not see it any other way

Yes, Lloyd, religions are all built upon human bias and therefore defective. Even the messages that MacGregor bring are biased, and therefore defective. That being said, what isn't defective? Heck, what makes something defective? Quite literally, it is subject to one person's definition. Now, I'm not suggesting we do away with definitions since they are "subjective" anyway. Definitions are very important to have. But, we do need to keep the subjectiveness in mind when we judge right from wrong. andy

Lloyd, please believe me, I DID NOT post reply #3. However, the sound advice to "pray, pray, pray," is so apt for ALL of us no matter our circumstances.

We have Wm. Irvine, as our founder (or bogyman). A host of other Christian denominations have their equivalents..... shakers & movers & founders.

LLoyd is correct. None of man's religions are perfect. Religions are mans's imperfect attempts to connect with divinity. There is no one true religion. All of man's religions contain particles of truth.

All of man's religions contain particles of truth. And we sure can see the true colors of the various religions today with the help of MacGregor ministries and all there DVD collections

If a person does a word search about bible contridictions....you'll see that there are quite a few stories and facts about things that arn't truthful neither....boulders of errors in the bible? If the bible isn't truthful how can Christians be truthful? I thought there was no lies in God and I thought that Jesus was the word. So it probly isn't a big thing to be dishonest about the history of any faith. Maybe thinking we are supose to be honest is a mistake.
