Noticed 36 thousand plus sitings for the thread that is headed "NZ sex issues" ? Yet 3 replies for "Does it Glorify God" ? Why does a Godly people seem more engrossed in scandal threads to a thread or threads that have some biblical/theological headlines or content ? Can you give a scriptural reason/explanation for that? This time the fact is how many times wannabee prophets just like you are prediciting end times due to something happening in the middle east. The end times is coming NOT “if” but WHEN is going to happens READ Revelation chapters 9 and 16; Jude 14-15. |

Its a guessing game, we only know the prophecy of the fig tree, which represents Israel. While its leaves are yet tender (young nation), Jesus described things that would happen and said that the generation which witnessed such would not pass away until all was fulfilled. A biblical generation can be 40, 60, 70, 100, 125 years, but I suspect 70 years would be most likely.
So from 1948 to 2024, it been 76 years, and that's where so many predictions went sour, because guessers were calculating a 40 or 70 year generation. In which case, most of the generation that saw Israel become a nation have passed away. The prophecy was made in Jerusalem though, and the Jews did not take that city until the 6 day war in 1967, Jordan had occupied Jerusalem since 1948. If the 70 year generation Jesus referred to in the latter days began when the Jews took the old city back, it would not end until 2037.
In any case, we have not seen the Abomination of Desolation, the anti-Christ has not appeared, and the days of tribulation have yet to start. But we have seen the birth pains which describe the onset of the end times. We are clearly living in the 5th seal. When the 6th seal is opened, things will happen fast, the days of tribulation will be shortened. Most believe it will be shortened from 7 years to 3.5 years, but I think it will only be 5 months (Revelation 9:5).
Bottom line is that after nearly 2 millennia God's people were gathered from every nation and the re-birth of Israel happened. They are surrounded by enemies as predicted, empowered by the king of the north. Jesus didn't give a date, just the signs to watch for, and said it would be as in the days of Noah, wickedness everywhere and then the flood came fast. There are no wannabee prophets, only watchers who are cognizant of the obvious warning signs. Can't come too soon for me!

HI Gold,Garry Hamrick is not an Evangelist/Preacher.. His work fits into Ephesians 4,vs's 11-12.
"It was He (Jesus) who gave gifts to mankind;He appointed some to be Apostles others to be Prophets others to be Evangelists others to be Pastors and Teachers.. He did this to prepare 'all' God's people for the work of Christian service in order to build up the Body of Christ"...
Remember the bible says"all"scripture is inspired by God" Garry is a Pastor/Teacher.. Seeing the 2x2 Ministry lacks Pastors/Teachers It is a good chance to listen to one for a change?? And as you would with a 2x2 Preacher check what he says and that it balances with the Bible... OK. Magpie

Goodness me Dan? Don't you need some good Biblical teaching,Ezekiel 37-40 even describes the very minute you are living today. A 2x2 member of my family even said "We shouldn't worry ourselves to much with these things because Jesus is coming back and He will fix it all up" The 2x2 doctrine of your founder was put together by a false Prophet? William Irving said Jesus was going to return in 1914,but as history tells us He did not turn up? Listen to a couple of good strong theological/biblical Teachers? I remember some 2x2 men discussing a book they read on the end times? But when the Author came to Australia to speak none of them would go and hear him? They said how good his book was,but when he spoke that would false teachings. To scared to find out he might be right I thought as a 16 year old?
