It does not say ex member, it says former minister. Doesn't say if they are still professing or not. I wonder how many of those who have died were held accountable by the church? Wayne Dean doesn't admit to anything and tries to make out they are victim focused when they have only recently sat up and taken notice. Wayne Dean continues to live in lala land, but it will catch up with him. Sad for those who have struggled all these years with no support from him.

I presume this to be BE, and understand he has been stood down from attending meetings. I have heard he is under police investigation, but not sure if charges have been laid. He is a very slick and smooth operator. I remember him as a worker, before he left the work and married, but have never actually met him.

WHY? Does quoting relevant scripture send the 2x2;s into sometimes a nasty response??

TO BE STOOD DOWN OR EXCOMMUNICATED AS MANY/MANY HAVE UNDER THE IRVING 2x2 DOCTRINE MEANS THAT YOU ARE UNWORTHY OF GODS GRACE AND REDEMPTION SO YOU HAVE BEEN DESTINED TO A LOST ETERNITY (SENT TO HELL) THAT IS RIGHT ISN"T IT? NO MAN HAS THIS AUTHORITY IT IS SO REVERSE TO JESUS & NEW TESTAMENT TEACHINGS? THE LOST SHEEP/PRODIGAL SON,ETC? ME A VICTIM OF PAEDOPHILE PREACHERS (S),WHEN I LEFT TO PURSUE A CLOSER WALK/RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS MY SAVIOUR AND FRIEND, I WAS TOLD BY A VERY VERY CLOSE RELATIVE THAT I HAD JUST BOUGHT A TICKET TO DAMNATION? I DO NOT BELIEVE GODS GRACE,LOVE,FORGIVENESS AND COMPASSION EXIUSTS IN THAT TERRIBLE UNBIBLICAL DOCTRINE? MAGPIE

To be honest, I don't know if that call has been made. It's more about separation from temptation, potential victims and past victims who can be triggered.
Others on a higher pay grade than I am, could elaborate.

There are other questions to be asked as well and the answers will come out despite the amount of carpet beig used. How many NZ workers have visited other countires conventions and sexually abused people? How many NZ workers have been sent to other countries as a result of being abusers here in NZ?

And how many were sent to other countries to be active in the Ministry in those countries, but were sent back to NZ and continued in the Ministry here when it was known they were either Sexual or Psychological Abusers, actively Gay, or had broken the law in that country.

Now a real estate agent up north.

And how many known sexual abusers of children in NZ were later promoted to the status of elder including at least one i know who had fathered a child to his victim. Of course the young victim was blamed. The workers need to apologize to the victims of the families of the deceased in this case. I could write about the affairs that I witnessed and a head workers perusal of a single woman. It's no wonder this group wants to keep hidden with no name etc. They've got a lot to hide.

Yes there is a well known one, actively gay sent back here from Australia. I believe the incident last year was legal and consensual, so workers and friends may not see it as an issue. It does make one wonder though....is there a morality standard that workers are expected to meet? If so, what is it? Do the verses in the NZ workers code of conduct cover it? āLet no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.ā 1 Timothy 4. 12.
āAbstain from all appearance of evil.ā 1 Thessalonians 5.22.wingsfortruth.info/2023/10/28/new-zealand-gospel-workers-code-of-conduct/Or does the code of conduct need to insist that workers remain celibate? Or stop forbidding them to marry?

The workers have got much more important matters to consider than whether one of their own is gay. They need to keep the dress standards and come down hard on toe nail polish, long hair, short hair, short dresses and only white plates and cups on the workers table at convention.

Donāt dare wear your hair loose ladies, or have it too short, etc, etc, because God doesnāt approve of any of that because itās totally biblical, but itās absolutely ok for us male workers to have a homosexual relationship and then preach the word of God. God is totally ok with that!

They think they have a right to tell women how to dress, wear their hair and so on. Mind you, I had a female worker at convention when i was 13, tell me to put my hair up. It was short and I wasn't even professing. What's this about wearing it up? The Bible speaks about a woman's long hair being her glory. Wearing it up is the same as wearing it short. Hair was a covering. Wearing it up isn't using it to cover her. Was there something about workers that like seeing a woman's bare neck.

At the beginning of last century it was considered immoral for women to show the nape of her neck so there were a whole lot of Christian women back then being immoral!

It's simply all about control as a now deceased sister worker, AD, told another ex-worker. I used to joke that the bun, no jewellery, and long skirt, no cleavage or skin showing was God's contraception. But recent events show that I was quite wrong

I guess it's a bit like the Priest fancying the Nuns in their Habits! The less you can see, the more you fancy what you can't see!
Down here in NZ, at convention the sister workers always sat in the second row of seats with a rug placed over the first row, so no peeping tom could get turned on by their stockinged legs! This was instituted by Willie Phynn, but carried on by Les Hill and Walter Frank, and then Nathan McCarthy. I don't know if it's still the case.

I clearly remember Willie Phynn driving past our house several days a week to visit his lady friend. You could set the clock by him. 5pm. As mum would say, there he goes again and give a chuckle. He was always alone so must have dropped his co worker off somewhere first. Which is best, pretend or be honest? The elderly lady never married. That was around 1964 or so. He spent years in our area which was unusual but if you're head Worker which I think he was guess you can say what area you want to go to.

Yup, Willie Finish, as I called him, was head sherang. And yes, the Holy Spirit apparently tells the overseer to stay where feels "most needed", and too bad for the rest!

Now obviously legal does not equate to condoned by the 2x2 does it?

Unless you hear it from the participants, or a witness, it's only the bush telegraph.
But some interesting things occurred that give rise to the 'where there's smoke, there's fire'
The chief suspect did not sign the letter that all the other Australian overseers did regarding CSA. The other overseers were not happy about it.
The companion that found him in a compromised situation supposedly rung another senior worker, who went to Perth to try and work out a resolution.
All of a sudden, the alleged suspect had resigned his position and was in NZ. Why?
I have been told that, on the first workers list for 2024, his name was not on it. On the final list, his name was. What changed? We know he has a strong personality and can be very persuasive. Friends in high places? He has dirt on someone?
The workers in South Australia seem to know all about it.
The companion who stumbled across the 'situation' is flying all the way to NZ for Special meetings. The suspect and the overseer are going to the bottom of the country for Special meetings. Why?
If it's true, and we know it is believable, the level of hypocrisy is unacceptable. Especially given that people are being excluded from communion for not adhering to the 'appearance rules', which cannot be supported by scripture.

Especially given that people are being excluded from communion for not adhering to the 'appearance rules', which cannot be supported by scripture. Given the chief suspect's previous history, we had a number of concerns about his activities during his time here in WA (for example, taking his younger companion away on extended caravan trips to Northern WA). We hadn't heard about this specific situation but it aligns with why the companion has randomly been assigned a Special Meetings visit to NZ. Out of curiosity, did this compromised situation involve another companion or a member of the fellowship?
