People should be drawn to the christian life you live not a structure. The door should be open for interested folk to attend study mtgs and choices can be made from there re joining the fellowship. Why join? Steve Blubaugh attends a fellowship that no one can join. They don't accept members. Nice video. Steve's a personal friend (he mightn't just know me as "admin" ), great guy. Would love to have done that study of Hebrews with him! Guess they are 'members' in one sense, members of the 'body of Christ' (as the term refers to all individuals who are 'in Christ'). John 3:8 (ESV) The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.

Why join? Steve Blubaugh attends a fellowship that no one can join. They don't accept members. Which I guess also means you can't get excommunicated / kicked out. Which raises lots of interesting questions about the Two-by-Twos, really. According to them, they are not an organisation, so what is there to join? They are, apparently, just a non-denominational group of people with no ordained ministers or church buildings or name. And yet the non-ordained ministers of this no-name non-organisation seem to have absolute control over who is a member and who is not. Almost like they were actually an organisation and denomination all along...

Just watched this interview with Steve and am so grateful to God for calling him out to an abundant life in Christ. I remember talking with Steve over 20 years ago when God was dealing with him and revealing the true gospel through reading the books of Romans and Acts. These books had a profound impact on his life and it is a joy to see him so satisfied in Christ. God bless you Steve.

As Groucho Marx said, "I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member."
