It has been reliably alleged that there are multiple sexual abuse victims of this now deceased senior Irish worker. A thread has already appeared on TMB. This new thread on the main board has been made available for victim/survivors to expose the despicable criminal behavior of CSA amongst the F&W. I was a professing 13 year old innocent girl who was sexually abused by Abram Dawson in 1970 in England. I am now 67 and have never really got over it as, at the time, I was very frightened as we had always been brought up to respect the workers and revere them as God’s true servants. This despicable and disgusting sexual encounter occurred when Abram came to stay with my parents at our home, from a funeral we had attended the previous day. So, this was the next morning, my much older sister said Abram wanted me to come into his bedroom for a little chat before I went to school, as she had just been in to see him before that, and she told me later that the same sexual abuse had taken place with her too. Whilst I was in the room with him, he said that he had done the same to one of the (now deceased) sister workers J.Lovegrove. My sister later told a senior brother worker of the appalling sexual abuse, and although he was horrified that, in particular, this had been done to a minor and obviously a serious matter, nothing was done about it by any of the workers, simply swept under the carpet. This predator was never brought to book and allowed to continue in the work until his dying day. I am no longer in the 2x2’s (my husband and I were in it for almost 50 years and had a meeting in our home, and at one time, all our 3 children professed too), but we lost complete trust in The Truth, partly due to the sexual abuse and cover-ups that affected our family in recent years, this we know not the teachings of Jesus. We still follow Jesus but not according to The Truth’s living witness doctrine as the true full Gospel of Christ is not upheld. |

This makes my skin crawl. Especially when I think back to our own daughter who, if allowed, would have happily climbed on to anyone's knee. I am so glad we never permitted it, and always made sure the kids were never alone with a worker.
What also makes my blood boil, is throughout this there would have been the meetings, sermons, telling people what they could or could not wear. Arrrgh!'

This guy died in June 1985 believing he had got away with his despicable evil sexual abuse of young girls. He died thinking he had taken his dirty secrets to his grave, buried, forgotten, never to blight his name and reputation. He clearly believed in God, what was he thinking that his God, his presumably warped idea of who his God is, would think of him? It's quite incredulous to ponder, this supposed "man of God". He is now being outed as a sham, a fraud. We know of 7 or 8 victims of CSA or SA by this man, just from recent posts on TMB. Past experience tells us there will have been many, many others. Ruth, I am so sorry for what you've been through. This man was a monster. He abused 4 or 5 relatives of mine as they were young girls in the 50s and 60s. Do you know which worker the abuse was reported to and are you able to name that worker or pm me their identity? The trouble is, there is so much stuff to come out that it is entirely possible that it was reported to another abuser. |

The unnatural Celibate expectation for a Ministry attracts the unnatural,what a "hiding" place. As a kid you would hear comments regarding sexual misdemeanors amongst the celibate Roman Catholic Priesthood ?? Knowing that you and others both by women and men preachers in the 2x2's had VIOLATED your very innocence? You would look at them on the Convention platform,you would feel sick while our mums and dads would be lapping up words from the mouth of a sexual predator convincing them they were one of God's true servants. Get up off your butt and become an advocate for a total Biblical Gospel embracing others of Faith in Jesus Christ as their Saviour !!! How can it be the only true way as the unnatural sexual actions that includes mentally disordered paedophiles is rife amongst that unbiblical ministry WORLDWIDE ?? Seek the Holy Spirits guidance over this,yes the Holy Spirit the Spirit of God,the God you hopefully fully worship .. Not the doctrine of man,but as the Bible quotes "ALL-ALL Scripture is inspired by God".. If you are scared,good,thankfully you might do something,God is happy to take you through the hard decisions. Yes if you do step away for a closer more fruitful joyful walk with God !! You will be rejected, Nastally by family,friends,preachers wont come near you,but will send around via the unGodly gossip terrible thing of you? But DO NOT fall for another sect/cult-please...
