help I just saw this on here. I know we've talked but I never knew about the song. Now I've got tears running down my cheeks too. To have had a relationship like you and Wendy have had where she is still your best friend is such a wonderful thing. Love holds pain sometimes, but oh, it's so worth it! Love and hugs to you both.

To have had a relationship like you and Wendy have had where she is still your best friend is such a wonderful thing. Love holds pain sometimes, but oh, it's so worth it! Love and hugs to you both. Thank you Snow and our love to you. The words in that song, "I could search this whole world over. You'd still be everythin' that I need". And I am sincere when I say that in regard to Wendy. My first love and the only Woman I have ever loved. We grew up together and attended the same meetings. I always remember that hot summers evening in 1958, when Wendy came into a Wednesday night meeting in a flowing blue frock. 2x2 regulation of course, when sitting just below the knee. Wendy sat opposite me and there was still enough of those legs showing to make me want to find out more. And of course Cupid went wack and the rest is history. Recently Wendy asked the Doctor for some fluid tablets. The Doctor examined her legs and said, "You don't need fluid tablets, you have film star legs". Pretty good after 66 years. And if only couples when times get difficult would stop and reflect on how strong their love was for each other on their wedding day, they would get over any crisis. We had difficult times, every marriage has that happen. And when we had a difficult time those words I made in my wedding vow would ring in my ears, "To have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until death us do part. This is my solemn vow" And one thing my Parents taught me was never break a vow. We have proved that love conquers all, share the love.
