Why can you not state the name of the ‘state/overseer’ who has contributed to this costs for survivors? Lets shout out for those doing the right thing. Again, we are looking for transparency. Besides which, this was not his money but he has done it on behalf of all contributors. Which is the same reason why the names of states/overseers who have not contributed should also be named. Transparency, please. I think all overseas travel needs to be stopped and this is an example of money that can re-directed to survivors. Most big organisations now have stopped their travelling as video conferencing provides a cost effective alternative. This church should be doing it too. Besides which, it isn’t good for the planet. EDIT: So still listening and get the point that it needs a 3rd party to handle this. Overseers need to donate to your organisation.

Thanks Sheri, Cynthia and Lauren for all your hard work, selflessness, dedication ect.So much appreciated listening to this meeting,it was so informative and also very sad hearing the facts. Isn't the 2x2 church registered under Christian conventions in the U.S? So would that not make them a entity that can be sued?

EDIT: So still listening and get the point that it needs a 3rd party to handle this. Overseers need to donate to your organisation. I agree that they could zoom all their meetings between overseers etc. but they are so paranoid that what they say will be used against them, get out into the 'wrong' hands etc. that I feel that's one reason why they haven't gone that route. Anything online is vulnerable to hacking, recording and then getting out to the friends/exes. I think there is a whole lot of stuff they talk about that they desperately do not want the ones 'they are over in the Lord' to hear. Ever. There are a few good workers trying to advocate for the survivors and we're seeing them being ousted by their 'bosses' and then letters written saying that so and so agrees that it's time for them to take a rest or step down for health reasons etc. making it sound like it was their decision to quit the work. When all along it's the bosses firing those who aren't toeing the party line. An example of that is a worker in Australia lately. I bet they didn't record that meeting. That way if the worker made to step down says something different they can say he's 'misconstrued what actually was said'.
