Thank you for this privilege, Dean and Dave found me in 1980 back in the alaska range. Deans way of talking , mentioning subjects over and over 3 times won my heart and caused me to ask So what is the blood of the Lamb. That opened the door and Still to this day Dear Deans style of talking teaches . Deans love made me feel special, every wounded heart needs this. Dean and Dave watered this thirsty heart and planted the seed, Kay and Charleen brought me in . thank you all

Thank you to those who made the recording possible so those afar could join in remembering Dean and what he meant to each of us. Special thanks to Dean’s family for allowing him to spend his life in God’s service, which has ultimately helped even me. May God give you special comfort in your time of sorrow and loss.

I am thankful for this privilege to write a line in memory of a dear faithful life. I prayed in a Special Meeting in Arizona one year and I just said “I am glad the Lord hears our faintest sigh” After that meeting Dean looked towards me and shook my hand and enquired where I was from, so I shared I came from UK. I felt he was a caring brother.

I valued Dean as a companion and we valued as a friend and brother in Christ very much. It truly was hard to process that he passed when we just saw him at Post Falls. It did make us glad for the visits we had with Him there . especially one visit where I got to thanked him for the hymns he wrote , because they were so helpful in the lockdown to tune in and think on things eternal . Like was mentioned in his service he had a gift to put into words his love and adoration for his God and his Son Jesus and his kingdom. and even though he is gone his words and influence and connection with God lives on.

Thank you to those who made it possible for us to watch the taped service. Dean will be greatly missed, but the same God who helped him become what he was will help those who continue the work of the gospel.

We were privileged to have met Dean when he was amongst a group of us who walked the Routeburn Track in NZ Jan 1976. It was evident then that he had thoughts of a higher calling.and it was very special to see him many years later and to hear him speak at our NZ conventions. A special man.

Dean attended Special meetings in the UK in December 2004 and we had the privilege of having him stay with our family for a few days which we have always remembered. He brought such help and comfort at a time of sadness because we had just held the funeral of our youngest daughter who died at age 32. His sweet influence has remained, and we know that his coming was no coincidence because of all that he shared with us about the love of God, especially at a time when we needed comfort and reassurance from God! We are thinking of his family, his Fellow Labourers, and the many friends who will, surely, be missing him.

For the short time I was acquainted with Dean I remember he portrayed a genuine enthusiasm for God’s way, and a great love for souls.

My condolences go out to Dean’s earthly family, his spiritual brothers and sisters and spiritual family. He was the greatest man I ever knew. And the most humblest. I enjoyed listening to him telling the story of Jesus. He made it so simple and yet not condescending. Never will forget the gentle giant.
