As we head into the mid terms in the US how many here feel that if the Republicans win like they want to, that it's the end of democracy in your country? When you have over 300 candidates on the ballot saying that they will not concede if they lose what will they do if they win? What does the future look like? Tim Michel's comment 'if he is elected his party “will never lose another election” in the state'. Listen to what they say when they say it. Afterwards because of blow back, a spokesperson tried to frame it as he will never lose again because he will be so good he will never be voted out. Absolute bs if anyone believes that's what he meant. The majority of the 2020 election deniers have refused to say if they would concede if they lose their election seat. That speaks loudly about what they are planning. People dismiss what they say thinking that they are just fooling around. How did that work for Jan 6th? Believe them when they talk. Once power is given to authoritarians you don't get it back. Not without a lot of effort.
Tyranny anywhere is a threat to freedom everywhere. Elections where the loser concedes is a fragile thing that the US has had for a long time. But it can be turned into a country like Russia and other authoritarian countries version of 'elections'. For show only. So I am interested in knowing how many here think that democracy can still survive if these election deniers win?

Fearmongering, the tool of lefties.
The Republic is not quite that fragile, we've dealt with worse issues than that.
Questioning the election cheating that went on NOV 3 2020 is the duty of of every American and Patriot. To do anything less leads to the mess we are in now and easy authoritarian take overs...
In other countries questioning elections gets you an all paid trip to the gulag or a grave, that is what the left is trying to setup as we speak...

The whole process of the 2020 election count is what many called into question. Never before did we use drop boxes for ballots, never before were signatures alone sufficient to authenticate a legitimate ballot, never before did states like Pennsylvania take 5 days to come up with a winner.
Many naked ballots for Trump were disqualified in PA, especially in Montgomery County (Philadelphia area). This all made people suspicious, especially when Trump had a 700,000 vote lead on election night. A lack of transparency didn't help as republican observers were not allowed to monitor the counting when that huge lead mysteriously evaporated.
I doubt democrats would have conceded either if the situation was reversed? Democracy should be open and transparent, then people would be more apt to accept an election result. But the backroom unmonitored counting cast doubts to an elections legitimacy. If the fix is in, election deniers are what would assure democracy survives.. jmo

1. 2020 was not the first time drop boxes were used. They have been used in both republican and democrat states for a long time. 2. Signature verification has been used for years and it wasn't the only way to validate it was merely the first stage of the validation. 3. When you have mail in ballots you will see it takes more than one day to count them all. Pennsylvania said they would count all of the mail in ballots that were postmarked for election day and before. Because of covid there were more people that voted by mail in ballot so the process obviously would be expected to take longer. Because Trump was telling Republicans to not mail in the votes but go vote on election day, it makes sense that there was a red lead at first. But as the mail in ballots continued to be counted that changed because it was mostly democrats that voted by mail. Nothing suspicious about that unless you think that voters who mailed in their ballot should not be able to have a say in the election. 4. Naked ballot are ballots that don't come mailed in the security envelope. Naked ballots are invalid for both Democrat and Republican. This was used in Pennsylvania and it was a Trump Administration win when they asked that all naked ballots be invalid. So I'm not sure why republicans are complaining about something that Trump wanted and won? It was considered to be an advantage for the Trump voters because he rightly determined that it was mostly democrats that voted by mail so the likelihood of democrat votes being invalidated was much higher than republicans that usually voted at the election booths. 5. In Michigan and Pennsylvania where Trump claimed there weren't republican monitors, proved that both parties were monitoring and it was a baseless lie. Many poll workers confirmed that claim that there both parties involved in monitoring. So, since more democrats vote by mail, and it takes more days to count all the mail in ballots, it's not mysterious that the lead quickly fell away as more mail in ballots were counted.

There are currently several states trying to discontinue the use of election drop boxes because they are ripe for fraud, The Pennsylvania Senate just passed a bill to ban them, as did Florida.
The only way to validate a drop box or mail-in ballot is signature comparison, and that's unreliable.
My Mom registered to vote when she was 21, and 65 years later at the age of 86, her signature didn't look the same. Shaky hands and bad eyesight take their toll, but the person verifying signatures don't consider that, and they are generally people who aren't handwriting experts and barely made it through high school. That doesn't boost a voters confidence that their ballot won't be discarded.
I know a person who bought 2 ballots in the last election. Both people decided not to vote and weren't going to use their absentee ballot, so he gave them $20 for them. They signed and dated them, then he filled them out and used the envelope to mail them in. When you allow ballots to come in days after an election like they did in PA, your just allowing people an opportunity to alter the results. I personally voted once, but I could have voted 3 times in 3 different states with my mail-in ballots. I'm no genius, but if my dumb neighbor could buy ballots and I could have voted 3 times, imagine what someone with money and brains could have done!
Because of covid, the election monitors weren't allowed within 6 feet of the counters, and had to observe through a window in Detroit. Florida had their ballots all counted 2 hours after their polls closed, and they had more mail-in ballots than PA. That's how you eliminate suspicion.
I posted this pic before, such a simple solution!

I would have no problem with ID. No system is perfect, everyone recognizes that. But not accepting an election that has been the most looked at in the history of US and very little fraud was found over and over, is not the way to keep a democracy still functioning. Anyone that does not accept the vote after so much evidence in courts that there was no evidence of the claim of fraud does not care about rule of law or democracy. If there was evidence why did over 60 courts say that there was no evidence? These were a variety of republican and democrat judges and their were judges that said they wished they could have ruled in the favor of Trump, but there just wasn't the evidence. The reason why Florida was quicker is because they were allowed to start processing mail in ballots 22 days before November 3rd. That helps speed up the progress.

I have a heck of a time trying to find anything on here. I have tried in the past and I just seem to get to the thread and then I have to go through the whole thread. When some of them are over 100 pages long I give up. edit: When I go looking for reasons for court dismissals of fraud I find this. And as you see above Dan Crenshaw says it was just done to rile up voters, give them a last hurrah, but it there was never a process to not certify Biden. Mike Lindel claimed now for a couple of years that he was going to bring the 'proof' out and have it overturned, but so far there has been no evidence at all that he claims to have. www.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-courts-election-idUSKBN2AF1G1
