I sent a message of condolence to a former workmate the other day in respect to his father, who I knew well for over 10 years. I thought of the time in which I knew his father and my overriding memory of him was that every conversation or interaction with the man felt like a gift as he was so positive and enriching. I do hope and wish that we could all be that; I would be so happy if someone had such a memory of me and I try to make myself think about whether I am adding value to someone else in either word or deed.

Sorry to ramble. You do add good things , feel free to ramble on . It’s all good . Just like the story you just shared . Might be a ex but I love to remember the good ole days and the good souls . Some are in their nineties here in Alberta, but man I love hugs and kiss me every time I show up in at a 2X2 gathering . That part about being remembered as a good soul is attainable & a good goal . I think the older ones just remember me as a child and the one who cared for my parents over 17 years . It was so awesome to help my parents . So people bring that up often . I was referring to myself once and said to someone , I was only there because of my parents/care giving . I was told you are here because of your love for your parents and we love you still even if you don’t profess . You still matter . That is a great goal Bendle . |

Welsh singing. Reminds me of when I was visiting friends. The mother was Welsh and she burst into song in one room, the son joined in in another adjoining room, the daughter appeared singing around another corner , and this beautiful singing just rung through the home completely in key & unison. And.. your post got me listening to some more Welsh singing tonight. What a good influence to bring ! How beautiful! My mother had a lovely singing voice. When I was young, my dad would take us for rides in the car exploring the countryside. We would sing. I was in chorus in high school and would teach my parents the songs we sang. My dad's favorite was "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing". |

Just turned on CNN today to see a beautiful photo of - ‘ A rainbow fills the sky in New Zealand’. Get up early tomoro. About 5.30 and look east. You will see the moon and four planets in alignment. Conjunctions don't happen every day. |

It would be nice if Redback came to visit. I liked his pearls of wisdom, and there's nothing like someone with plenty of life experience to share, actually sharing it. I guess that's why I also appreciate DMM. I don't have to agree with someone in order to appreciate them.
