no sweat pervy commyfornia has a law saying 10 years difference is okay and you MIGHT NOT get put on a predator list for doing so depending on the judges discretion....everywhere else will probably follow suit...

In essence, he's the sort of sheriff I'd want in my county where my family and kids live.

I can't go that far - he holds his own department to high standards. See his response to three of his deputies being arrested and charged with felonies www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7DF1R0hoJIAlso, here's another press conference about a deputy trying to solicit a child. I respect him for his integrity and the high standards he applies to everyone, especially his own department. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8445otaCJ6MIt's pretty obvious he's fairly conservative, but I respect liberals and conservatives alike who have integrity and who act according to their beliefs. It's what allows me to be a fan of Sheriff Judd and Bernie Sanders alike - both have integrity. What grinds my gears are police chiefs who don't hold their officers to the high standards that he does, and who shield and protect them when they do wrong. It reminds me of senior workers who move around and cover up child abuse, come to think of it...

He might be better on some but that one he was terrible & was mocking what needs to done to revamp our police departments in many parts of our country.
We certainly do need the police depts., -but they also need to be held responsible for their actions.

We certainly do need the police depts., -but they also need to be held responsible for their actions. They need to be organized like the military -- with a civilian chief of staff. Far too many police officers are answerable only to their own enforcement officials.

There are thousands of police departments. It appears that the majority of them believe in "qualified immunity", and those more loyal to the police than to the Constitution are not inclined to assume any responsibility for their more egregious crimes against society.
