Why blame Jesus? these clowns are nowhere near like Him, this is all there own doing. They had three prayer session during the riot, and they said Jesus was directing them. Churches were supporting Trump's views. White evangelical Christians are Trumps strongest base.

The moral of the story is opeingact34 secretly wants to reintroduce animal sacrifice..... You're right. Jesus must have been a member of PETA. He was upset about all the dead animals and had conveniently forgotten about having drowned trillions of them in the flood and needing to destroy the planet again with fire. I didn't realise you actually believed that literally happened. You can think it did, as long as you don't expect me to I don't have a problem with it.

According to an ABC News poll, 73% of Protestants and 87% of Evangelical Protestants believe literally in Noah and the Ark. We enter children's imaginations regarding Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and other make believe imaginary friends to have conversations with them. Similarly, to converse and connect with Christians, we need to accept their beliefs about the Flood, the Tower of Babel, talking snakes, the Garden of Eden, undead zombies wandering around Jerusalem, and Jesus performing "miracles" and "driving out demons".

God gave them temporary bodies as living witnesses of the New resurrection bodies which God will grant to the all believers when Jesus returns to set up His Eternal kingdom on earth. Aftee Calvary Jesus conquered death, he had the KEY of death and went to Hades to set the Old Test souls had been held there for 4000 years! And bring them back to heaven/Venus where they can rest for the time to RULE and REIGN with Christ on earth. The stories you read in Genesis to Revelation are TRUE, they are NOT myths, fairy tales, or science fiction and so on. These things go beyond 3-D and our mortal humans beings minds, AFTER the FALL in the Garden God took away a lot of the human immortality gifts, we were CRATED in the Image of God, Christ and Holy Spirit! The believers would understand these things ONLY through Faith. Without Faith it is impossible to KNOW God and to understand Him and Christ.

They are still nothing like Him and neither are those churches. Read the thread again... When they saw corruption on display, Christians violently stormed the Capitol When he saw corruption on display, Jesus violently stormed the Temple. Matthew 21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, 13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. Not When he saw corruption on display, Jesus violently stormed the Temple. Mark 11:15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves; Not When he saw corruption on display, Jesus violently stormed the Temple. Luke 19:45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;. Not When he saw corruption on display, Jesus violently stormed the Temple. John 2:15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; Not When he saw corruption on display, Jesus violently stormed the Temple. Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. It is easy to take an incident blow it up out of proportion make it seem dramatic but the Christ is as the verse above. In no way do those verses indicate that He actually used violence against man.

LOL. You just made it worse! Claiming "I am meek and lowly" after rioting in the temple sounds like something Trump would say. The Capitol rioters mostly behaved much better than Jesus. If I went anywhere in public and overthrew tables, threw other people's money around and so forth...I would be arrested.

Maybe, - but it would still the template & a universal story that all groups of people on the face of the earth use to tell their story because they want to believe that they are special and different than their neighbors!
In fact we still do it today!

Where do you get the idea there was rioting in the temple. From the Bible Jesus made the cords TWICE and he chased the money changers out of the temple court yards. First year and the last year of Jesus ministry he did that he said the Zeal of thine House has consumed me! These money changers had committed some types of crimes/sins against God which made Jesus very upset and he drove them out of the temple court yard with a whip.

And because of the doctrine of the Trinity, Jesus was actually three people. So yes, it was totally a riot.

It is totally not. i don't think anyone is saying the actual word riot/rioting is being used in this particular story, but it fits the description of one somewhat. and of course it was a justified/righteous one seeing it was Christ doing it. other riots in history may or may not be justified/righteous however...suggesting that what happened in the temple was "peaceful" is a lot like the left in america saying what happened in most of 2020 was "mostly peaceful".

It is still accusing Jesus of riot no matter of what spin is put on it. If in the original writings riot was not mentioned why should it now.
