It is too bad Lee, -that you don't realize that "assaults on the free world" come from theocracies which insist the people must act and think only the way that particular religion dictates.

Which ones Any & all governments that are a theocracy, -even some that claim to be democracies. Discrimination against atheists, both at present and historically, includes persecution of and discrimination against people identified as atheists.
Discrimination against atheists may also comprise negative attitudes, prejudice, hostility, hatred, fear, or intolerance towards atheists and atheism.
Because atheism can be defined in various ways, those discriminated against or persecuted on the grounds of being atheists might not have been considered atheists in a different time or place.
13 Muslim countries officially punish atheism or apostasy by death, while "the overwhelming majority" of the 193 member states of the United Nations "at best discriminate against citizens who have no belief in a god and at worst can jail them for offences dubbed blasphemy".
In some Muslim-majority countries, atheists face persecution and severe penalties such as the withdrawal of legal status or, in the case of apostasy, capital punishment.

Working class.... As in people who work more for survival wages than the acquisition or preservation of capital, in the form of money or property or power?
Do you look down on these people for not being as rich, or as smug as you?
Do you look down on these people because if they weren't given to transcendent ideation, they might release us from their slavery to nothing?
If it turns out that the poor we always had with us, because someone had to do the work after all, would it change anything in your worldview?
And why do you reserve your contempt for the poor? There are rich or well off people, who are known for circulating some of the richest intimacy with ideological truth, and the hope of JC.

I suppose as the atheist is to communism so the canary is to the oxygen scarce mine. More accurately, atheism is to communism like sharks are to oranges. Nice try again. Lee, --just how many times do we need to tell you that atheism and communism are not the same?
atheism 1a : a lack of belief or a strong disbelief in the existence of a god or any gods. b : a philosophical or religious position characterized by disbelief in the existence of a god or any gods.
communism
a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.
Now Lee, - you can keep on with your own little battle in an attempt to try to equated the two as long as you want, -but you can't win. You cant redefine something just to make it suit your own warped interpretation!
All you do is to show that something is wrong with your own reasoning capacity.
Whether it is your brain malfunctioning or your ignorance or just your bias against other peoples right to think for themselves.

Whether it is your brain malfunctioning or your ignorance or just your bias against other peoples right to think for themselves. You've supplied an interesting definition of communism .... "each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs" Really, in communism everyone is paid according to their abilities? No, that's more likely to happen in capitalism together with private property rights together with a cultural/religious view to a private citizen's relationship with the holy spirit and the ensuing innovation and creativity. But go on. Keep redefining words like communism. What you're telling me is you ARE a communist. You and 2/3 of TMB's active participants.

I realize as a Marxist you believe the state as you worship it, could usher in a materialistic salvation worthy of displacing Christianity, and every other meaningful inquiry into life.
