I heard this song the other night, and thought it was beautiful, I then went on to write a poem (below) youtu.be/nYZBSk8J7Tc?si=tKzaSMhlc7uVY7IaMy poem God is everywhere The moon is like a man of God, reflecting on the sea, appearing in the darkest nights to bring light to you and me. So bright he shines as he reflects the sun to brighten the night sky, to show a way to the living God as Jesus passes by. I see my God in the trees of old, as they blossom in the sun, I see him in the rivers as freshly as they run. I see him in the waters as they they sparkle and they dance, I see my God in everything given half a chance. I see my God everywhere, in all that he creates, and hear his voice as he softly speaks, from his heavenly gates. I see him in the innocents, hearts woven in pure gold, cleansed by the Holy Spirit, by a loving God old. He's not in the sky just sitting there upon a silver cloud, he's everywhere in everything if we only look around. His eyes are bright and shining his mouth is from above, his heart is full of strength, and he's my undying love. God is everywhere... by me Mary. |

If there is a god I would see it more as 'everything' instead of some being that sits in constant judgment of everyone. |

Hi Mary, I hope this isn't copyrighted as I quoted some of it this morning in our meeting. Well done and well put together. I use the Chinese meridian system quite often and to get everything in balance involves so many counterbalances and balances that life seems extremely well engineered but we mess it up so easily. If I remember rightly this song was included in the "Solid Gold" series of vinyls way back then. Each record had about 20 to 24 songs from memory and were selected from the top sellers of the day. They were a hot seller back then. Thanks for bringing back the memories. |
