Then there is this guy! I have had a crush on him forever. Seen him twice in concert. Waited 3 hours to get tickets for the first one. If anyone else likes Waylon here well I can totally relate! Here he is doing one of my favorite songs with his wife Jessi Coulter. She was with him at the second concert I saw. She is another of my favorites.

Corona virus theme song?? Nitty Gritty is another band I've seen several times. Saw them not long ago. Had to laugh at the age of the band now and their fans. We all got old lol...

Have always loved this one. It's what I choose as much as I know how.

One more lady that really speaks to me because of my history. Independence day. I know this song is about domestic abuse, but it also speaks about justice and 'Let the Guilty pay' which I think speaks for all the survivors of CSA/SA also. I had both SA and domestic abuse. This song is for us.

This song made me smile this morning; heartfelt lyrics.
Good Morning, John!
By Kris Kristofferson
Good Morning, John! Ain't it great to see your future shining brighter in the naked light of day?
You made it, son! But I confess there was a time or two I thought that you might let it slip away.
I love you, John! In the cold and holy darkness you were always shining brighter than a star.
God bless you, John! For the love and joy you've given and the living inspiration that you are.
You've scared me, John! 'Cause you crossed so many borders into danger with a price upon your head.
They got you, John! And it hurts to see so many friends, who ran along beside you lying dead.
I know you, John! There ain't nothing you can't handle now, 'cause there ain't nothing bigger than your heart.
Keep shining, John! For you owe it to the others and the dark and holy wonder that you are.
Hang in there, John! It's a rocky road to glory, but the strangest and the strongest will survive.
Keep smiling, John! We'll both make it there tomorrow but today lets say we're lucky we're alive.
I'll see you John! Though the best of good intentions have a way of gettin' scattered by the wind.
I know you, John! There ain't nothing you can't handle now, 'cause there ain't nothing bigger than your heart.
I love you, John! You can lose your mind and memory but you ain't ever gonna lose me as your friend.
Good morning, John!

Went to an Alice Cooper stage show on Sunday. It was more for the entertainment than the music.

Only an hour and a half show. A bit disappointing. A friend of mine knows him personally. Said he's on oxygen. Only 71.

Only 71. That's too bad. He did a good show many years ago when he was still young. He's lived hard so I guess it's catching up to him? Or did he have covid and has permanent lung damage?

I’ll have to ask my friend.

This is one of my all time favourite songs, and more often than not, at the top of playlist for my commute to work. Makes me think about my own state, seeing the good in others, and working together in unity.
Running Towards a Place By The Killers
Give me the eyes that I may see The good in my people and the trouble in me Give me the hands that I may lift The weight of another who's starting to drift
And if we're running towards a place Where we'll walk as one Will the hardness of this life Be overcome? If I lay with you in love Will you meet me there? And shake the lightning from the locks Of your unbound hair Can two become one?
Give me a song that I may sing That cuts like a canyon and rides on a wing And give a heart that I may stand For what I believe in
And if we're running towards a place Where we'll walk as one Will the hardness of this life Be overcome? If I walk the wild blue Will you meet me there? And shake the lightning from the locks Of your unbound hair Can two become one?
Can you see the world In a grain of sand? Can you find heaven in a wildflower Hold it in the palm of your hand? The moment we met Burst like a star Onto the canvas of the skyline Purple and gold We're in this together I ain't never letting go
Because we're running towards a place Where we'll walk as one And the sadness of this life Will be overcome If I lay with you in love Will you meet me there? And shake the lightning from the locks Of your unbound hair
