Cranky Co-Workers Day is a day in honor of co-workers that complain and are cranky all year long. It is a day when everyone lets them continue complaining and being cranky, instead of trying to cheer them up.
Cranky Co-Workers Day is observed next on Sunday, October 27th, 2019. It has always been observed annually on October 27th.

Celebrate the day by letting your co-workers be as cranky as they want! Don't try to cheer them up at all, and let them wallow in their normal crankiness! Celebrate who they are and that there is really no way you can ultimately change them.

So I guess this means if we let the habitual cranks their day, then the rest of us can be cranky also? 😀

workers now refer to their companions as their co-workers. Maybe same sex marriage dictated the need to stop referring to their partners as their companions.
