Judging people by what they WERE, or ARE?
Once I was a child, should I or anyone be judged by that standard in current life?
Once I was a knotheaded teenager, should I or anyone be judged by that standard in current life?
Once I was an arrogant worker, should I or anyone be judged by that standard in current life?
Examining myself closely, a 75 year old “gammalgubbe” I AM failing. Should I be judged by that standard now?
Or, might I be judged by the public standard I have longed to be my entire adult life? Perhaps I SHOULD be judged by how I judge others! Loving kindness is not easy to come by. It CAN, however, remain my purpose and desire.
