Anyone know names of workers that George Walker kicked out of the work in the early days? Seems like quite a few, according to what we read on TTT from old letters. Irvine Weir would have been one. His underlings-Jim Beacom, Andrew Abernathy, and even Charles Steffen continued his policies. I have been taking an interest in power struggles and conflicts among the earliest workers. The harsh Victorian culture of Ireland, circa 1900, molded the attitudes and beliefs of these early workers. I feel sorry for those who left their homeland against their will believing that they had been "called and sent!" When the first Irish/English workers left home, they knew they would never see the Emerald Isle again. Never would they see home or parents.

I've wondered if Irvine Weir wrote anything about when he left the work, or was put out of meetings.
GW kicked him out of meetings, but I believe he may have left and married prior to that. Irvine Weir pioneered CA.
If anyone knows anything or has any notes about this, please let me know!
I've been researching the Weir family...
Thanx, Cherie
