More myth. Try researching fact and back it up with verifiable evidence instead of endlessly repeating mythology in a vain hope that by repeating it often enough it will become true. For instance you reference the flood. There is not one shred of evidence of a world wide flood but you still believe the biblical story. Show me the fossil record of penguins, kangaroos, kiwis, kakapo that are found on the way to and from the ark. Let’s begin with the “fossil record” being a notorious Exercise in circular reasoning? Great. With what data can you support your claim?

With what data can you support your claim? if you are satisfied that the research you compiled is research , that confirms (as true,) , the hypothesis you are endorsing, then by all means , don’t let me “rain on Your parade!” (any of the many scientists (notably AE Wilde-Smith, etc.. have given talks about the evidences of the ‘deluge’ ) (I’m sure you would be bored to listen to ? Other wise I would post them again, and again .) hmmmm Thank you.

Here, I have to depart from many who agree with me on what is myth and what is fact. I find there is evidence for several great floods stretched over many periods. I'm satisfied to accept that the author of Geneses had heard some rumor of a great flood in the long past and included it into their story.

To a cave dweller an entire valley flooded which was the total of his world would be catastrophic. The rest of the biblical flood story is simply that. A story.

Am sorry, there is plenty of evidence, and as i suggested i will refer to the dozens of talks and lectures (by quality scientists) Thank you

weather or not there is a responce to this post or not
is not the reason for this post..
it is for the “purpose” of feeding inquiring thoughts/reasonings
if it accomplishes that, Good, if not, then i humbly apologize ‘.

then (for those that believe there is no universal purpose for creation). ??
do you believe all the universal “elements” were created?
(Or do you have an aversion to such concepts as “creation” ( ?). )
nevertheless, we do have these “components” of mass
elements were created to have a chemical reaction
with other elements , and “compounds” were created to have reactions with other “compounds” (or an element)
For this reason we can study the created chemical world and
Either “believe” these chemicals were created for a purpose?
Or you can believe they were created for NO purpose! !
Does it make logical since to anyone (logically) that there Is no purpose for chemical reactions?
(Ha, this is a psuedo-rhetorical question!
So, the question remains for the “doubters “
(Do you see a purpose in this creation of our wonderfully created “chemistry universe” ??
Hmmm
Thank you
(and especially Wally!)

Always a reason to search for Truth, because ultimately it demonstrates the purpose for everything, as Solomon wisely espoused in the book of the Ecclesiasties. And yes, even our Creator created the elements , for the Purpose of inquiring minds to discover the Logic of what we are made from and what provides our sustainability? And we learn more about the spiritual purpose of our meditations, right? Thanks Thank you

to summarize:
not only do we know that there is a purpose for the Purpose of Life, we know there actually is A purpose for Life! (And we can find it out ). (, as Solomon also finds out ! )
Hmmmm
Thank you

The only circular reasoning I have seen in this thread is that posted by quest. Endlessly repeating bible based science which no reputable scientist would put his name too will not further his cause. Take off your blinkers quest and start reading real science. Scary stuff I know and all of us who were once 2x2s and are now atheists have had the balls to do that and come up with the answers. Be honest for once in your life and stop perpetrating the religion lie.

Endlessly repeating bible based science which no reputable scientist would put his name too will not further his cause. There are dozens and dozens that “put their name” on their research: dr Dean Kenyon, dr AE Wilder-Smith. dr James Tour, Dr Jonathan Sarfati, etc.... just to get you started. great researchers! Thank you

We have been through all of this before, -where you said, "i offered a scientist's take on the issue" plus your "quality scientists!"
This one for instance, -Arthur Ernest Wilder-Smith, FRSC , -more commonly known as A. E. Wilder-Smith, -was a British organic chemist and young Earth creationist.
Now, you got that? Your quality scientist "Arthur Ernest Wilder-Smith is young Earth creationist.
Now, listen carefully because I don't want to have to repeat myself yet one more time! this is the definition of a Young Earth creationism
Young Earth creationism (YEC) is a form of creationism, a religious belief, which holds that the universe, Earth, and all life on Earth were created by direct acts of God less than 10,000 years ago.
Got that? -Young Earth creationism claims the whole universe is less than 10,000 years old.
NOW this: Homo Sapiens (Modern mankind) has been here 350,000 years
The first Homo Sapiens had a heavier build and were stronger than modern humans. Homo Sapiens were the first prehistoric people to inhabit large areas of Europe, Asia and Australia.
But you! You, quest! -YOU have had the audacity to keep on & on trying to tell us that YOU have "offered a scientist's take" on the issue?
Do you really believe that we that stupid ?

Thank you, When you are backed into a corner you true colors come out in a flash, -don't they? Claiming to believe in "science," -how quickly you rush to your default position of siccing your "Creator “ god on me.
That is because it is all that you have -after trying to sound like you are coming from an intellectual scientific based position.
But if I were the Christian Creator god you claim as yours, -I would "spue thee out of my mouth," for not having enough faith to believe in me without trying to prove it by some kind of "scientific" mishmash .
PS: I don't need anyone's condescending "thank you" nor anyone's advice about being "logical" coming from someone who has no idea of the meaning of the word.
