Actually gossip, talking about other people’s private livest does NOT mean that it is necessarily derogatory about that person.
It can only be just being concerned about the other person. Taking to & about others is the social discourse that binds a group of people together. |

It is true that "Gossip" can be abusive if it is of malicious intent,- but not all "gossip" fits that definition, -sometimes it is just "small talk."
As for myself, -I was never was one to enjoy "small talk," and thought it rather frivolous and unnecessary but I as get older have learned that it does serve the purpose of binding people together when used in a non-derogatory way.
Your assessment of my ability, "You must be losing it!" doesn't sound very much like you are really wishing me "Kind regards."  |

I had thought DMG was just having "a moment" with some of her comments lately. But her take on most things now seem to be unfluenced by Donald Trump and his view of the world. God help us if either were in positions of great power.
