Just a curious point: There are no conventions in the Francophone part of Quebec. Why is that? Are there few francophone Friends? Why would that be when 2x2s have apostolic succession? Should there not be many francophone 2x2s who came to New France during the colonial period?

Just another proof that "truth" began in England and not France. Had the Truth started in France, the friends would be drinking booze all around the world.

The fact that there is only one convention in Quebec, compared to 5 in Ontario. And that the one convention in Quebec is located in the English speaking part of Quebec (no matter if there are some French speakers in attendee), tells us that the the 2x2s didn't come to North America with the New France colonists.

I think you are mistaken about where the convention is located. It is not in the east of QU. In fact it is scarcely out of Ontario.

Richmond, QC is in a part of Quebec called The Eastern Townships, on the south bank of the St Lawrence between Montreal and VT/NH/Maine. That is the area of QC which is mostly english speaking. It was settled by United Empire Loyalists who left the US after 1776. The French speakers were already living on along the St Lawrence river before the English speakers showed up. Located hereI'm sort of confused as to how you knew that the convention had french/english translations, but that you didn't know the name of the region it is located in (Eastern Townships). Sort of strange. You definitely are not from QC or even Canada. You don't even know the abbreviation for Quebec (not QU, but QC). So how do you know about the translations?

Actually I do know better. How I know these things is not your business. You are right. I am not from Canada or QC. But I do know there are French speaking people who live around Richmond. A meeting I attended spoke English due to visitors, but sometimes is French-speaking. And we did sing a hymn in French. Anyway, check out this map: www.cbc.ca/montreal/features/livingenglish/anglophone-census-map/ It shows that the immediate Richmond area has 30-50% English-speaking but the wider region is pretty much all Frenchspeaking
