How about those who were forced out of the Kingdom in Alberta 1999? Are they also sister churches of what we refer to as "The truth"? Have you ever heard the Jim Knipe tapes of a phone call between Jim, Gwen Fipke, and either the Jordans or Galloways? It is really intense!!

I see no responses to this older post. I do not need any more personal details or names, but does anyone reading know whether these churches are still intact as churches? If not, then I don't suppose anyone would call them "sister churches".
If so, do they still practice the same or a similar form of meeting in homes?

I suppose either noone here knows or noone is willing to say. I have no idea but there are examples in Australia of meetings that have left the 2x2 church and are continuing. Every now and then, from what I hear, they get a visit from workers with the question "why don't you come back and have fellowship with us...". When they ask for more details, they are told that they have to re-profess! That's where the conversation ends. There are other break-away examples like this - in Vietnam and Canada. When we left 15 years ago there were stacks who left around the same time. At one point about 40 of us were going to one particular Christian church in Sydney. We've all dispersed to different Bible based churches which is healthy and natural over time. Ross, Thanks for the information. It is nice to hear that some are continuing to meet in a simple way in a small church in their homes rather than dispersing into other churches or no churches. At least I assume that is what you meant that some are doing. From some things I've heard about Australia on this board, it seems I might have to do that myself if I were in that country. I do not know so I cannot say. I do know not everything is as some represent it on this board. The disunity is not good. Lack of fellowship between Christians is not good. I do not know whether I could have fellowship with those workers you mention in Australia. I do not know whether they are Christians. It would be good for those separate meetings in Australia to have fellowship with us. I would like those in Alberta to have fellowship with us. And those in Vietnam and elsewhere. It would be best for all Christians everywhere to have fellowship with one another. I do not mean unity at the expense of truth and light but unity in the truth and light of God, among all who have faith in Christ and truly desire to live faithfully for him. For those who do not have that, unity with the body of Christ should come about through first believing and devoting oneself to Christ, then seeking unity with others of like faith. To me it does not seem healthy for a small church to disband and disperse to various denominations. I'm glad to hear of some who stayed together as a church, even if they were not able to have fellowship with those who they previously had fellowship with. I truly hope that they are living faithfully to God where they are.
