Earlier today I noticed two invisible users on line. Only admins or people that the admin allocate this feature to can be invisible. That of itself is just trivia.
I posted this observation along with the question that I wondered if the admin was using multiple invisible accounts to post in threads under different names.
Intriguingly, the thread and original post I used to ask this question has gone missing, so far as I can see.
Now why would that be? Is someone trying to hide something?

Hey huh -- It's a fair question. My guess is you are the admin and you're now trying to deflect attention from your games.

Rob,
AFAIK It's possible for anyone to be logged in invisibly. You just have to go to your account options and check the proper box. It looks like this.
Stay Invisible: Choosing "Yes" will make it so that you are not listed as online except to staff members.

Thanks Junia,
I stand corrected on that. Now if I only knew where my post went......

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that they aren't really out to get you...

Yes, one can remain invisible and be logged in. Kind of like a registerd lurker. Innocent Q uses this quite often and is posting with current time but not showing up as being logged in. Lately he seems to be using only some form of his name such as "i", or "innocent" or "1Q" and still asking little innocent seeming questions. In other words, he's laying low as in "if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen."

What's the point of posting as invisible if everyone can figure out whose doing that anyway? Linda

Quite an assumption on your part, and you too, must be drinking of the same juice as Rob O. with your form of paranoia. To ease your illness, I only post using my "registered" name and anyone who posts with the other "handles" just wanna be like me . Bless their soul and yours alike, all the best...

Paranoia, IQ? Hardly. When you've actually thought about, please post a sensible comment.

IQ ,
This sort of passive-aggressive tripe is a waste of my time. As such I won't be responding again to you unless you have something sensible to say.
[Edit: This post was a response to something IQ posted and subsequently deleted...including the assertion that I was in an early stage of a paranoia type illness.]
