I was thinking during meditation this morning how much I look forward to coming here and reading the various conversations, debates and such and thought about how seldom I let people here know how much they mean to me. Though I have never met any of you in person, I have met you in the words that you write here. I want you to know that I care about you and am glad to be sharing this space with you. To those who I don't always agree with and who don't usually agree with me, I want you to know that I respect your views, am glad that they give you comfort and joy. In the end, joy and love are the most important things in our lives imo. So I just want you all to know that I cherish you all. Big group cyber hugs to you all!

There is no better way to understand one's own views than to have to articulate them for others' scrutiny. That's a risk most people aren't willing to take. It happens here. This is good. Thanks y'all.

Thanks y'all. That's so true Bob. I've learned a lot about my self since I came on here. Some good, some not so good. The nice thing about interacting with people here is we can be mirrors for each other. A lot of the time if I don't like an answer or an attitude, I take a moment to ask myself why. I find sometimes it's because it's hitting home and not an aspect of myself I am proud of.

I have learned a lot from interactions with others on topics of interest and I feel it has broadened my horizons in certain areas. I love a good discussion and the nuggets of wisdom gained as a result. Also, sharing experiences can be very helpful and healing for others at different stages on the learning curve of life.

I am a small part if the mod squad, and really appreciate the rest of them. I too have made a lot of friends here on the TMB, and many of you are also friends on Facebook, so I get to know you in real life as well.

I agree with the comments on this thread. An open mind and a willingness to learn are aids to a better understanding of oneself. I too have learned a lot on this board.
