After 1 full year....you got nothing on me... Looked at the generations coming up behind me and said No thanks...switched to computers then for a couple quarters or so then on to drafting and completed(AA) and graduated from that. then several years later went back and got an AA in Business... |

Wishful thinking is your own secular thoughts run wild. Faith is God/Christ/ and Holy Spirit driven. One requires belief in only yourself One require belief in something greater than you. |

You don’t need to be religious to believe in something greater than yourself. What is greater than self in the secular world? No man is an island unto himself. You are just one person in a society. You are dependent on many others to enjoy your quality of life. The knowledge and contributions of all humanity which lived before you are far greater than the abilities of anyone person. The generations coming up behind me were crazier than my generation and I would have had to teach them and deal with them so I said no thanks....better?
There is a lot more to being able to know history than just teaching it to to others.
Are you sure the problem was that you were hearing some truths of history which upset your iron clad ideas that you didn't want to give up? |

A dedicated teacher can do a lot of good in the world by keeping people grounded in what is accurate and why certain actions & events happened in the past so they won't be repeating the same mistakes over & over again. |
