Harriet Tubman's Underground Railroad for escaped slaves was also illegal. different conditions, circumstances, reasons, and motivations for the underground railroad vs illegal immigration... People whose lives and families were at grave risk migrated illegally to places where they might live in relative safety. Would you have joined the effort to track down escaped slaves in order to return the 'capital' of the slaveowners? |
