The web site sites.google.com/site/hymnsoldandnew/ has comprehensive information about the 1987 edition of Hymns Old and New. It has more limited information about supplements and previous editions back to the 1909 Go Preachers Hymn Book (pdf copy available on the web site). The hymns written by Eddie Cooney in the 1909 book provide an interesting view of his focus at that time. He also wrote other hymns that are still in the current edition. A 36 page pdf summary of hymn and author information for the 1987 edition can be printed double sided and in booklet format. Verses that are not included in current editions are available here.

Thanks for posting this link.
Just curious though, from the first page:
Copyright Claimant: Trustees of Copyright, Pocock & Martin for the Christian Church in England
Pocock and Martin must be copyright attorneys or the like, but is "for the Christian Church in England" like saying "on behalf of all mankind"? So if this is the case, then any organization or individual could procur the book for what ever purpose they'd like.

The "Christian Church in England" was their name for the organisation for which they were trustees. It is likely that they were referring to the fellowship, NOT all Christians in England.
