Julie McMurry (Mesa, AZ) lost her battle with ovarian cancer last night. Her funeral is tentatively scheduled for next Saturday, April 23. Those in Montana and Wyoming might know her brother, Scott Rauscher, as would all the CA folks.

Thanks - I do know Scott well, as well as their other sister, Kris. Would she have been in her mid-sixties?

I thought you might know the family. Yes, she was in her mid-sixties; Scott and Kris are both younger.

Her Mom died of the same cancer when she was in her 50's, so Julie made it a little longer. She was a beautiful woman with a lovely spirit. Gorgeous auburn hair and tons of it--until the chemo took it.

I grew up with Julie, Scott, and Kris. We went to meeting together until we married and otherwise left our homes. Our families picked peaches and canned them together; went to the local swimming pool together in the summer; spent nights together and traded comic books!
Yes, Julie was a beautiful woman. Doug will be devastated by this event!
