I've been gone a while and traveled many a mile, and now that I'm back, I hardly know where I am. There once was a section for death notices, but I don't see too well any more, so I may have missed it.
Any how, the subject of the thread is pretty much all I have to say. Bill's ending reminds me of the final scene in Meet Joe Black where Hopkins asks of Pitt, "Should I be afraid?" Pitt, who is really death, there to take him away replies, "Not a man like you."

So true,Brick. Few like him. I feel I lost a great friend, but still have a great example.

Sorry for the loss you feel too Lin. I feel I have lost so many of the older generation lately and realize my generation is beginning to be the older generation. Wish I was wiser to be an example such as brick's fil. I wish I had gotten to know some of my aunts and uncles and older cousins and neighbors much much better to have gleaned some of their knowledge.

Pink: I like what I read one time " Wisdom is not all in whats known, rather more in whats shown" I think you show a lot of wisdom. I believe I knew some of your relatives, when I was in Florida. I don't remember their names except Varney.
